Yes. I've never been interested in bikes until I saw HD's Electric Bike. My problem with Harley Davidson is that they are too loud and consume too much gas, and smell pretty damn bad. (Yes, I get that the low rumbling fart noise they make is a part of its appeal to some, but so what - there is nothing more idiotic than revving the engine while stopped). Harley Davidson's electric bike to me is, is a piece of modern, smart engineering.

I misunderstood the Third Country agreement. But we could strike this up with Mexico.

The US has weird asylum laws. It is slow and painful. Congress needs foam ctuslly act at some point. It can not just keep pushing it down the road. The idea of not letting people get legal and making it easier to stay here at the same time is also a form of abuse.

I totally get that Trump screwed this up. My thought is maybe it is time, the US looked at this and made some real resolutions.

we are talking here from 3 different things when it comes up to imigration.

1. there are LEGAL immigrants what would not be in no country except the country calls them because they need them.

2. Illegal immigrants - what is indeed a problem but also they would not be in masses in a country if there would not be need for them too. you can not replace housemaids, gardeners and really low skilled and underpaid workers with US citizens because they would not do this jobs.

3. Refugees that flees from their countries because of war. here the US could do a lot to prevent that by stopping senseless wars and not heat them on or dropping bombs on civilians. but this problem you do not face in US because you are too far for them. this problem goes to Europe.

the idea of a global economy is totally different as trump´s idea of that.
there is no doubt that the world economy went´s up a lot after WW2 and this was a consequence of the abolition of trade restrictions. if these trade restrictions are reintroduced, it is only logical that the global economy is moving in the other direction again.

if you look at where the USA exports to today and at what level you will notice that exactly these countries which trump describes as competition are today the largest trading partners with constant growth. If you take the income from these partners, they are also gone as buyers.

the growth markets today are in regions where there are many people with small incomes who cannot pay the price of a product produced with highly paid americans.
but they are buying masses.

the idea of globalization is to exploit this advantage of cheap wages. with other words: you import raw materials and partially manufactured products CHEAP into the USA - refine them there or give them the fine-tuning and export them back to exactly this kind of countries. but other industrialized countries also like to take advantage if the price is right.furthermore, you also give your own people the opportunity to be able to buy cheaper and thus create more prosperity.

trump has not understood this eternal cycle. in his world, commerce is a game in which one has to win and the other has to lose - exactly the same way he has run his own business and thus driven many suppliers and partners into bankruptcy.
he doesn't consider that the one who takes money from him today is the same one who brings it back tomorrow.

in a worldwide economic system there can't be any winners or losers because that's like the monopoly where at the end one has everything and nobody can buy anything from him anymore because he has nothing left.

that the US economy is not doing well has completely different reasons. especially the fact that the US has artificially built prosperity with borrowed money for decades. people should have been told back then that this money has to be repaid one day and that it costs interest.

the entire health and education system in america has never been taken into account. those who are ill do not receive any help from the state to get better and those who are insured should remain ill to buy drugs that are overpriced by the pharmaceutical industry for as long as possible. old-age provision is closely linked to the economy and those who are old can only hope that they will not be in a crisis.

america has by far the highest number of prison inmates in the world. this is also due to the antisocial education system. these prisoners not only cost the state vast amounts of money but are also imprisoned in private institutions whose greatest interest is that they either stay for life or return as quickly as possible instead of being reintegrated into society.

but last but not least, it is military spending that is driving the deficit so high.
without military spending, the state budget would have been reorganized.
what trump wants from the world is to blackmail profits that lead to the construction of weapons and the expansion of the military apparatus that can ultimately be used against the countries that financed it.

america still lives in the cold war and has never learned to build a healthy economy in a peaceful world that benefits the citizen. now is the time to learn this lesson or the whole world will go to hell.
