There is not single area of Phoenix that I would consider "scary" enough that I would need to carry a gun.

The biggest problem is people hearing of crime by black people then assuming all black folks are like that. People love to lump others together, like all fat people are lazy, all Jews are rich, all Polish are stupid, all blacks commit crimes, etc. Stereotyping is ridiculous.

I had a guidance counselor in high school who preached abstinence, sobriety, honesty, morals and not cheating. Got to know him well and he admitted that he and his wife were swingers. After the shock wore off, he told me “all black men with white wives swing because they like to sample all flavors.” I told him my parents had black friends who didn’t swing, but he insisted I just wasn’t aware of it. So, I asked the wife of one couple about it. She didn’t know any swingers and said he stereotyped to justify his behavior.

He came to dinner at my house and stupidly said, “nice house. Must be nice to be Jewish.” Dad put his fork down quietly, asked what he meant, and he seriously talked about all Jews being rich. Mom interrupted dad, “our financial business is based on hard work, not religion. Please leave our home now. We welcome anyone but for prejudiced fools.” She started to say, “I’m sorry, honey” but I said nothing, just clapped.

I was dumbstruck watching him get up and leave. He tried to explain but no one would listen. In school he asked what was up my parents’ ass. I basically said that as a black man he shouldn’t be prejudiced, especially since he complained about life down South and prejudice and stereotyping.

He was fired later in the year for having a sexual relationship with an 18-year-old student. His wife stayed with him.

I never forgot how he ranted about stereotyping down South but did it himself.

Too many white people think all blacks are bad. DL put it out there for everyone to ponder. He’s 1000% right, sadly so.

It isn't. Patterns of behavior can be attributed to a group, but that doesn't mean they are attributed to every individual member of that group.

Jews as a group are primarily responsible for multiculturalism and the refugee influx into formerly-white European countries. But that doesn't mean I hold you or any other Jewish GFY poster personally responsible for this.

I would be happy to break each group down into a collection of atomized individuals, so that stereotyping becomes impossible. But I'm not convinced that Jews would go along with this :)
