However, the original FISA warrant was started in 2014. This was two years before Fusion GPS was hired.

That article doesn't say Page worked for the FBI. Instead it said Page was interviewed by FBI counterintelligence agents after he met with Russian agents. The Russian agent called Page "an idiot, but somebody who the Russians could work with because of his enthusiasm and desire to earn lots of money."

I have found several links where Carter Page stated he was giving info to the FBI (and CIA).

I do not find anything confirming that and since Page is known to embellish his importance, I would like to see something verifying what you are saying.

Yes I did.. And I read the court documents.. As usual you "don't understand" Page was approached by the FBI because he was propositioned by the Russian agents.. As in the FBI were watching the Russian agents and knew they had approached Page.. Page offered to help, he set them up and got them convicted.. Page was still on that case until June or July 2016. Meaning he was still being paid as a CI by the FBI while he was volunteering on Trump's campaign..
