USA should be a good choice.

PR_Glen 09-14-2018 08:46 AM

i've been looking into either portugal or spain for a while now. Would be nice for at least part of the year when I'm a bit older anyway.

The food and the weather alone...

JesseQuinn 09-14-2018 12:21 PM

lived in 4 countries. technically 4 1/2 as I spent 6 months in the DR as well but never had any status there. no one cared, I was injecting US dollaz into the economy and not taking a job away from a local.

in Jamaica now, will never move again. best place on earth to me. Belize was awesome as well but can't hold a candle to JA.

for all its problems, this country is magic. plus I get to use my light skin priv here for good. actually broke up a fight that would have resulted in a murder by getting between the dude holding the gun and the person he was aiming it at. no one wants the heat of killing a white looking girl (only half white but still pale as fuck). he dropped the gun down, the one aimed at left and no one got killed

met Chronixx when I was in Miami. fun, really awesome dude.

Here a top 4 where i stayed long time.

#1 Coast and islands of Bahia in Brazil
#2 Islands in Thailand
#3 Bali / Gili (before the earthquake)
#4 Mexico (zipolite, Isla Mujeres, Holbox)

I will keep travelling around coming years.

Good call on Mexico... the place below looks tempting. Can't argue with $350 per month and dirt cheap REAL Mexican food!

pimpmaster9000 09-14-2018 08:00 PM

Is it safe in mexico?

Watch the video, bro. It depends WHERE you settle. Also, it depends on how you carry yourself.

every single one of them is an alcoholic. if starting your day with a breakfast with a rum and coke with a chaser of disdain for Mexican peeps you'll do fine. if you have an ounce of humanity though? avoid avoid avoid

:2 cents::2 cents:

some real truth worth a re-quote. helps being wealthy and whitish but really? just don't be an asshole and anywhere you go you will be embraced. those creepy expat communities the exceptions. "safe" but really toxic and not conducive to healthy living mentally or physically.

working for 4 hours on, then an hour off reading to stay sane. rereading the A/B of Malcolm X who with NO tools used his intelligence and words to diffuse the conflict he encountered in the US

imagine if all of us did that?

we as people created these systems, we have the agency and power to dismantle them.

but don't. why? of what are we so afraid?

not a rhetorical question.

I read Malcolm X' autobiography in college. Awesome book. Interesting politics though. He'd actually be a conservative today.

MX taught me to not follow beliefs, but to follow objective observations and experiences

love peeps with courage.

as to being a conservative? what does that even mean? small l lib, big L Lib, small or large C Conservative? Dem or Lib?

all this US fighting? this is nuts and not warranted and pretty sure MX would agree. align oneself with respect and truth and ethical principles and NEVER be afraid to change them as the conditions surrounding oneself do

prob more poor grammar above and no fucks given

If I had a choice?

Stay in Thailand, Viet, and other SE countries, few months here and there, no actual place to stay.

Hotels are dirt cheap there.

I found a nice house, 60m2 total, about 50m from the beach for 36K euros near nagua, north shore dom rep...incredible value for money...but I can get rent here for like 150$/month so buying anything here is probably not worth the investment...

Fiance is korean, we go every year. Love it. Busan, Seoul are prime destinations. Usually stay in less touristy areas like ilsan or goyang than train/sub and bus all over the country. It's nice walking around with beer bought from 7 Eleven and trying different street food carts half of which I'm not sure what I'm eating.

But second choice I'd agree, New Zealand definitely
I've only been once and will go back.

I once took a train to Busan. Awful journey.
