Did you read the article you linked? Both parties don't believe that. In fact, plenty of quotes in that article support feinstein for respecting the anonymity of the victim.

It absolutely comes off as a political attack but I doubt anyone will ignore it. She should be jailed or sanctioned for withholding this information. She must have at the least committed some kind of ethics violation. Politics as usual i guess.
