Ford said she notified them. The Republicans in charge of the nominees. When nothing happened and he was the actual nominee she then notified her Congressman and sent a copy of the letter to the press.

She said this today under oath.

beerptrol 09-27-2018 03:54 PM

he was asked more than once if he would ask the white house to open an fbi investigation into these allegations, yes or no, he never answered. He has something to hide

Which is all the proof anyone needs to see that he is unfit for a seat as a judge much less on the SC.

All politics aside I see this as the main suspicious point: if he has nothing to hide and is 100% sure his version is true: why not say yes?

Cause even if he somehow gets confirmed, these allegations will never go away without investigation and you have a lifetime SC judge with the lingering reputation of being a rapist.

So Ford told the Republicans about this and they did.... Nothing.

So the Republicans are to blame in the delay of this being released.

Why am I not surprised.

Exactly

common sense is you investigating clear that guy's name not trying to push him through on an exaggerated timeline for political expedience.

Party before country is the GOP motto

The good news is it is an impeachable appointment.

How long would that take? Where to begin? She can't remember a single relevant detail. All of the witnesses that she named say it did't happen. He's already passed FBI background checks 6 times. The Demorats have likely hired this woman to try to delay the confirmation long enough to keep him off the next session of the Supreme Court, then delay it until 2020. They've pretty much stated this is the goal.

line up and have your papers ready...cause that is the slippery slope.

or hey we are coming to your home and searching your ocmputer because someone thought you might be someone who possibly did something on a computer in this area.

The FBI was notified, they saw that there was no proof and it was a she said he said, so they closed the file and passed

So they hired her in 2012 after she told this her husband and her therapist in couples counseling because the Democrats knew that in 2018 they would need her cause Trump would appoint Kavanaugh ...

Man, that is really some proper planning. Genius.

dyna mo 09-27-2018 05:03 PM

why wouldn't he want an investigation?

why is he even unwilling to take a polygraph?

SleepWalker 09-27-2018 05:06 PM

I would put him on a polygraph, I would already bet a lot of money he has nothing to do with what happened to Ford. If he was to pass a polygraph then I would be 100% sure.

Some people here are so anti rep it is crazy. Who do you think found Ford? Who convinced her to go public, offer her protection, support? This is just a political game. It is a shame. The politic is a shame, think about it, 50% of Americans now hate they other half. Some are now extreme enough they would have no problem killing someone in the street just because of different political views. Humans are still very related to animals.

^^ This is actually a good point. Well, it's possible that she was preparing her smear campaign in case Mitt Romney had won in 2012 because Romney was considering Kavanaugh for the SC. Why didn't she report this when he was appointed to the nation's 2nd highest court in DC? No one mentioned this during the lengthy confirmation hearings even though Feinstein had the info. Seems like a ploy to cause major delays

kavanaugh's name was one of dozens and dozens of equally qualified and conservative candidates on a list.

moreover, where was the dubious plot to doom Gorsuch?

are you aware Gorsuch attended the very same High School as kavanaugh?

bronco67 09-27-2018 07:29 PM

I'm not sure naked indignation was the right path to take, especially when it's still basically a job interview and temperament is one of the things being observed. A senator from Hawaii had to remind him that he's not entitled to the position...but it sure as fuck looked like he thought he was.

You should tell her the exact opposite - to come forward immediatrly, and not to wait 30-40 years (because THEN no one will believe her)

She said she was pushed from behind, KNOWS it was Kavanaugh somehow, but doesn't know if Judge also pushed her, because she was pushed from behind, and couldn't see. If she couldn't see, she couldn't know if it was Kavanaugh.

The problem the Republicans are having with the midterms is white women from the suburbs. This hearing today looks horrible for the Republican party, and if he gets nominated this will continue to look bad for the Republican party.

Because he knows it doesn't matter what he wants and even Joe Biden said that anyone that thinks an FBI investigation means anything, doesn't know anything. They are inconclusive.

I arrived at it the same way you think you are refuting it, from women saying so.

Polygraphs aren't admissable in the court of public opinion? Since when?

balls to come forward like that.

dont take that to the presses yet, as it is not disclosed still just on the nationalreview
