that is waaaaaaay cleaner than the place I got my burito thing from...waaaay cleaner...

I would take a photo of the lady selling, but I do not want to offend her...I know she knows her rolling sales kiosk is shit and that I would be taking photos to make fun...

roll the dice IMO and see how it goes for you...you probably wont die :2 cents:

I never have problem with street food there (although it completely sucks).
Empanadas are actually one of the best street food there. especially if they are NOT cooked on old oil.
Just dont buy no meat/ cheese that is not in fridge lol, but thats obvious lol.
I recommend trying juices and milk shakes there. good but very sweet.
Also, if you want to eat something decent in DR, just go where Italians live

dominican food is OK I just eat the meat and score some veggies from vendors and cook it separate...the empanda thing is convenient for me because it contains meat+cheese+cabbage and this is what I normally eat...I just throw away the outer shell crap...I wish it was 50 pesos and not 25 tho...25 pesos is just sooooooo suspicious :2 cents:

My grandma cooks for free, I don't know how does she do it, but it's even delicious, and totally free. :thumbsup

Had an all you can eat in Fairfax that was 6.99. Pizza and stuff.

But the cheapest meal on the block is cooking yourself. Go to a grocery market, bargain with them, and you can come in under a dollar for a full place of delicious whatever you decided to cook. I made chicken pilaf yesterday that probably retailed under $3 that fed 4 people.

That looks like a neat empanada stand . . .

Singapore used to have amazing street vendors 20 years ago but sadly the government in their wisdom stopped it all. The food was fantastic and for under $5 two people could eat like kings!

On a serious note, in my country the most cheapest and popular street food is shaurma (watch this video ;))

But if you complain about your order that guy chops your head off with the big sword knife.

Well, nobody has complained about it so war, or nobody knows about those who'd tried ;)

Actually it's the most popular street food in Russia. Those who says "augh, I don't eat that shit" are hypocrites... or they are vegans. One portion is about $2 USD. Cheap as... nothing and very tasty.

Some kind of burrito just bought one of the same size (or slightly bigger) than the product in the video above. $1.50

Same guys are making small pizza (24 cm) for $2.

I'm assuming we're not counting fastfood or shit you buy and cook yourself. The "depo burger" is something to the tune of $6, and it's a decent burger. I mean, gourmet compared to fastfood, if people are wondering what I man by "decent". I also live in Montezuma County, so, if the name doesn't give it away, we've got tons of Mexican, and Mexican is usually affordable as fuck. Especially on taco Tuesdays.
