If the industry can perform the studies to prove that vaccines are safe and bring a net benefit, then I'll accept that, but so far they are refusing, obviously lacking confidence to perform the necessary studies.

Not all of us are willing to believe in vaccines in a religious way, while I understand it will bring comfort to many to not question them. Personally I like science and data, so until the industry can prove scientifically that vaccines are bringing a greater good, I'll keep calling them out for avoiding the required studies.
