Anyone else notice that no statement has been released of WHY he chose to murder a dozen innocent people? PTSD victims generally give reasons for acts like this. Why a bar, or why that bar? Did he have hatred for college kids who ignored him at that age?

He lived with his mom. If not working, military back pay may help a little but he couldn’t afford his own car or rent. Nothing indicated MURDERER to me.

A lot of anti-USA comments here. More mass murders than usual is true, but a handful of mentally-deranged people versus twelve million seemingly normal people doesn’t make the USA a bad place to live.

China doesn’t have much crime, they say, because thieves lose their hands, rapists lose their dicks, murderers lose their life quickly. What about Holland, Switzerland, Trinidad, Africa, etc? Mass murder is rare but why? Culture? Schooling? Parents? Consequences?

Prison in the USA seems not to be restrictive or helping. Counseling is rare, three meals a day, exercise, library, school, television, computers, visitors, purchased snacks, telephones available, and a lot of throat and ass action whether top or bottom.

What’s the answer? Yeah, I realize this should be a separate thread. Feel free to move half of it. I’m seriously interested in hearing thoughts on this subject.

This is an American problem where it is too easy for mentally unstable people to own guns. Better firearm laws is a solution, it won't stop the problem but it will reduce the problem.

It's the fault of the government and the culture where people need to have tools designed to kill. Then making those tools even more effective at killing.

I have a right wing friend on my facebook and she always posts these horribly photoshoped memes with old pictures from internet. One time she had video of S. Korean police presented as German riot police, compared to bleeding US cops in Ferguson. I mean a blind man could tell those were Asian dudes marching and screaming, not German. No she insisted this was it. I even showed her original video yet she still reposts that garbage once in a while.

Images of the caravan. The excuse of fleeing violence wears thin when so many are men of working age. where are their parents, wives and children? Don't tell me they left them behind to face the violence alone.

The US and other countries pay good money that essentially keeps them poor. Outfitting military to keep the status quo. These people don't have weapons. Sorry, I don't like it either.. but if there was a chance they could fight and overthrow the corruption, better believe we'd send in reinforcements to stop it.

Still no excuse for leaving the family to face the dangers. In fact it's an excuse to take the family with you. Unless your reason for moving is only to work even if it takes the jobs of Americans.
