That's a bug in GA . It is counting the users on the original tubes.

Yes, spent days tweaking my server setup and had some of my admin friends tune it plus go is stupendously fast, I used to use php and go is like 20x faster.

Yes, HEAVY caching...I hardly hit the db with the amount of caching that I do. Only user actions really hit the db, video info are almost always in cache.

This is the new server that I bought recently.

I guess all the ad networks have that bug too:1orglaugh
More impressions for me, lol.

PS: The level of pessimism on this forum is petrifying.

faaaaaaaaaak, i thought your site was in php, now you mentioned GO.

i know GO is fucking powerful language, i have one mainstream site rwitten in GO .

so what are you using for caching ? redis , memcache ? , files ?

Thanks

I stopped using redis because I would need 100GB of ram to cache everything that I cache now, I use file cache now...still fast and I can cache more things

do you use kibana ? to keep an eye on elasticsearch ?

how many searches your server can handle per second ?

I used it long ago when I was tuning my server, once everything was running good, I stopped using it. I don't monitor elastic anymore

SmutGiant 12-28-2018 12:45 PM

How many domains are in your PBN? How many with high authority links?

Is your tube domain a keyword domain or branded?

Jman 12-28-2018 02:42 PM

What Niche? Ping me if you think we can work together

do you self host thumbnails or use direct links of big sites.

i see ovh has 500 mbps unemetred port n traffic., but would like to know this.,

how doies ovh handles DMCA ?, if anyone sends them ? they give youtime to take content off or just suspend the server ?

i always wanted to start CJ site. maybe next year.

thanks.

I self host thumbs
Sometime cloudflare tells me that they sent it to the host but ovh has never contacted me personally. Maybe if they receive tons of dmca requests they will contact the webmaster but they haven't contacted me yet.

Also how many documents are you storing in elastic? Because it's very surprising to me that you're managing 1m users per day off of 2 servers (one of which you say you don't even need).

I run high-traffic aggregators just like yours using just elastic as the backend fyi. So I've got some experience with what your numbers should look like.

And I'm not even really hating, just questioning some of the numbers and info. To respond to that with "you haters never fail to amuse me"...idk man

I mean 1m users a day would be something like alexa <4k not 15k. And with 10k users currently on site with average session duration 7m you'd expect closer to 2m visitors than 1.3. And then he says "i didn't know you can edit the HTML of an app" like he's never used "inspect element" before despite somehow running a unique self-coded script. And then says he uses mongo AND elastic for an aggregator, and that his elastic backend is supporting 1.3m users on a single server.

Is it hating to question when things don't add up?

Totally turned on right now.

It's easy enough to look at ads and link codes to trace the poster to find out their site.

What's the best way or how did you get all your videos online? With titles and descriptions? Any advice there? Did you do it yourself, manually?

I fetch videos from sponsors and other providers automatically

Great start of the new year!
Surpassed 2 Million yesterday by a landslide!
Let's hope that I keep up this momentum.
