The point about hiring more people to patrol the wall is a big on. A wall is only as good as person's ability to defend it. If there are miles and miles of wall with no patrols, they will just go over, under, or through it. Here's the problem, there are currently more than 1,400 open requests for new border agents. Those openings have been there for several years and they can't find people to fill them because it is a pretty shitty job.

If the wall is going to be effective we will need to hire a small army of people to patrol it.

All the illegals with fake documents were kept off the FBI employee checklist which the FBI uses to do background checks on everyone around the president to protect him.

Two thirds of Americans do not want the wall built.

Everyone knows that the vast majority of people who come here illegally walk in through a port of entry and just never return home. Five billion dollars on a wall isn't going to change a damn thing.

It needs less people to secure a good wall than it needs to secure a bad or ineffective border.

But your point is a good one and why the job needs to be made more attractive.

It's good that the FBI is investigating this crime. Will people go to prison, get deported or is it just used to beat Trump with. Will he fire those guilty parties?

The number who walk across the border should be ignored then?

It's about the quality of people who get in by crossing the border by walking in. Criminals, low skilled, unskilled, dependants, children, etc. To get a visa to holiday or work short term in America is one way of making sure those people aren't the dregs.
