You sir, are correct sir.
But this gives me an idea. Imagine earth sends a space ship to Jupiter. A radio signal would take 43 minutes to get from the Earth to Jupiter, and another 43 minutes to get back, making real time conversations impossible, right? Imagine we put 1 satellite in earth orbit, and another satellite in Jupiter Orbit, each with a special radio. The special radio takes radio waves and uses them to vibrate / oscillate a photon that is quantum entangled with its counterpart in the other satellite, which is then read and turned back into radio waves. Since what affects 1 entangled quantum particle affects its counterpart instantly regardless of the distance, wouldn't this deliver real-time conversations?
I'm guessing this would not work for some reason I didn't consider but man I'm fascinated by the idea...
