You know that the USMCA isn't actually active yet, right? Trump knows that but lies to people because, well, that is what he does. The agreement has to be ratified by congress before it goes into effect and that hasn't happened yet. So, as of today zero extra dollars have come in from that thing.

So Trump released his budget.... He wants to cut 10% of everything except for the military. He fucked up with this tax cut which only benefited the very wealthy and screwed everyone else, the U.S. Treasury took in a lot less money, and the expected boon never happened.... The deficit is through the roof (but he'll blame Obama for that of course) and now he has to unfuck things... Even with reducing everything by 10% he won't be able to balance the budget for the next twenty years.

I find it funny (or not) that trumps first 2 years when he had Full Republican control, he could not demand a wall, and suddenly when he looses the house (who controls spending), he has to have it or else ! It's now a emergency where it was not 2 years ago or last year or at least till after the election.

Surely folks have issues that directly effect their lives that take president.
