So Trump is investigated by the FBI for obstruction of justice, they find evidence of his crime and say "Trump is not exonerated".

They then give the decision to prosecute over to Barr, who wrote a 19 page opinion piece on how a sitting president cannot be guilty of obstruction of justice, and Barr decides not to prosecute.

Trump is claiming on Twitter he is "fully exonerated". The letter the AG sent today does not say that. But of course Trump is going to spin it, Fox News is already spinning it, and his base will eat it up alive.

We need to see the full report. The Democrats will push for that. In the mean time, there are other investigations ongoing.

So far as I cam concerned, there was collusion. Trump's campaign manager was feeding the Russians polling data. This is just ONE example of collusion. There are many others.

Mueller's report was created for congress to decide on the criminality of Trump's actions.

AG Barr's move of of trying to clear Trump is comical. It's not in Barr's power to clear Trump, that power lies with congress & congress alone.

Mueller's scope was extremely narrow in the investigation.

It was specifically Trump working specifically with the Russian government to throw the election. Not Trump's son, not Manafort, Trump. Conspiracy is difficult to prove.

Mueller confirmed what everyone already knew. Russia worked very hard to help throw the election for Trump. They're still doing it for 2020.

Mueller also confirmed there's evidence of Trump obstructing justice and he's not exonerated from that crime.

There are also 17 other investigations into Trump and his criminal dealings.

Of course he has no problems with it. Republicans have embraced treason to win an election because they were too weak to win on their own. Republicans have embraced Trump's self dealing as well as the self-dealing of key members of Trump's admi administration.
