Why the fuck you sending me emails but keeping the sale to GFY and not actual affiliates via an email. This screams fucking affiliates over.

We did send an email to all affiliates, explaining the sale and it's also been posted in this thread above. Not everyone has an up to date email address on file, so if you didn't get it, that's likely why (30% of all emails about the sale bounced).

There are a few separate issues here that we've been working with:

We did not buy all of the previous owners sites. He is keeping some sites, which share billing, hosting and the custom content platform. His sites are not leaving CCbill and all of the ones we bought are migrating to our own billing.

We did fix the issue above, and then a change was made for the other sites and it reverted the fix. We didn't anticipate this and are working on fixing it immediately.

Just to be clear, CCbill traffic from affiliates is still going to the exact same place it always has; we did not alter anything at all with that traffic. We chose to point the traffic with no ccbill referrer to NATS instead.

I know on paper this seems like an easy transition, but that's just not the reality. These sites operate on two separate custom systems and used billing that was not our own. CCbill also doesn't allow us to transfer the users like some other billers do, so that further complicates things. Anyone that's been in this business and dealt with moving legacy sites and systems can tell you how complicated it can be, especially when you are not moving the entire system and/or network. Oh, and to make things more fun, the server that the back end was on lived in a place int he mountains that only had radio internet, so we couldn't just upload it, we had to send a server there to duplicated it and then ship it.

We tried to make this as painless as was possible and allow people to keep using CCbill if that's what they preferred (particularly because of the payouts in some countries), but it's causing more issues than is worth for the little amount of money that it represents. So we have no choice but to separate all the systems now and we are putting the script in place early to convert all CCbill sales to the corresponding NATS account. We spent the weekend duplicating the CMS and are redirecting everything as we speak, with the NATS redirect the next part to happen.

I'm sorry for any issues that this has caused you guys and hope that the reputation of Gamma as a company that operates honorably helps to assure you that we are working to resolve this as quickly as possible.

I've posted my email above (office at femjoy dot com) and suggest that as a quicker way of reaching me than posting here; I've got my hands full fixing things and will be back when I have an update.

Thanks for the update but please can you remove paypal and bank payment from the site asap so we can stop losing these sales? ( they do not get reported in NATS ).

Also address the issue of not getting paid if none US because Nats wants to force all to fill a W9 that is for US only. Gamma certainly does know about how to deal with this issue.

Thanks

Paypal and bank transfer are the issue that I'm trying to correct now and why i'm moving everything away from CCbill. Those options should not be showing on NATS links and gamma doesn't want the signups there, we ONLY want them through NATS and on our billing. The issue is the site that staying on the custom system has a different join procedure then the ones leaving. So we have to move everything and duplicate the instance of both the front and back end systems and remove the CCBill join page.

As for the W9 issue I'll open a ticket right now. Please email me with the account and I'll look specifically at what's causing it for you.

It shouldn't be too hard to fix. I think this would work:

1. In the NATS tour target URLs, add an URL parameter like ?source=nats
2. On the site's code check if the URL parameter above is present.
If it is, set a permanent cookie, sourceisnats = true. (The best is if you check the parameter on all pages, not just the default landers. Affiliates can link to custom pages too using NATS links, eg. to a model page.)
3. In the join page's code, check the cookies. If sourceisnats = true cookie is there, don't render the Paypal and Check design elements.

Affiliate update just sent out:

Quote:

Greetings affiliates,

As of this afternoon, all new sales for
Femjoy/Joymii will be found in NATS. NATS and our developers have worked
through the past two weeks to fully integrate the Paypal and Bank Transfer
tracking via NATS so commissions are being paid on any type of
join!

To do this, we had to also create and tune the
script that allows us to translate ccbill links to NATS links and give the
affiliates credit. We mapped all the CCbill affiliates when we imported
them into nats, so your CCbill links will now be converted into hits and
sales and reported in NATS. We have also implemented a full cascade that
will offer Gamma Billing, Epoch and then CCbill so we have the greatest
opportunity to convert your traffic.

Typically we have the very straightforward
FameDollars link to our Join page (with our billing). Normally with a
takeover of sites, Gamma looks to move everything entirely to our own
billing and we don't offer a cascade, but in this case we've decided that
this is the best way to preserve traffic, join options and tracking and
also make sure that everything is in NATS as it should be for our
affiliates. While Gamma works to integrate it's latest acquisitions, these
sites are being run outside of our familiar way of doing things, so there
has been a period of adjustment during which we've appreciate your patience.
If you see any issue at all, please screen capture it and email it
to me at office at femjoy dot com along with any context on how it occurred and the URL.

Even though we have created the script to save you
from having to swap out old links, we would ask that you ONLY pull new
links from NATS and change them out wherever you can.

FHG's: We have imported the FHG's into NATS as well
and they are now available to link to. We aren't offering the ZIP files of
content at this time, because we are also moving the content server and
separating it from the tracking server. For now we will be manually
importing the new galleries bi weekly instead of mailing them out
weekly.

New Tour: we have now made the tube style
lander available for your traffic for Joymii in
NATS as well. This tour features animated gifs and showcases content in a
way that is more familiar to tube traffic.

PLEASE NOTE: All existing rebills will still stay
in CCbill and will be paid directly via CCbill. All new sales and rebills
made through our
NATS program will be paid from
Gamma.

If you have trouble accessing your account or
resetting your password, it's likely because the email address we imported
from CCbill isn't current or you are swapping out the username field for
the id field. If you need help, please write to me and I'll reset your password.

Thank you in advance for your patience and
understanding during this transition.

Kind regards,
Nighthawk
Femjoy Editor in Chief

Did you get a reply for this? the reason I am getting this is simple, I didn't upload a w9 form on the "my account" page. A w9 is for US citizens only. I can't be the only aff not living in the US? Why not simply fix this for all instead of wanting to check my account specifically?

Thanks

I haven't submitted the ticket because I was waiting on an email from you with your account info (as requested above) so I can look at that case; this doesn't seem to be a universal problem, so I'm going to need to be able to recreate it. Please send me your UN, Account ID etc.

Are you going to end your Fall Promo soon? Cause I'm not making any money when you give away subscriptions!

Earnings for last month were absolutely terrible compared to previous months.

If it doesn't change in November I'll just quit on this one. After so many years that would be a shame!
