This industry has degenerated to position where 5 people a day willing to pay for membership needs 10000 freeloaders a day. In some cases it's even worse.

Count the number of views on samples, not the number who can be bothered to buy.

The reasons are simple. Rarely do we see something that inspires enough to warrant someone to click and even less to buy after taking a tour. Because the free version is the better. There are exceptions but few and far between. Even back in the good old days the only reason people bought was they had to, remove that and it's downhill all the way.

Sad news. I decided to skip it this year and catch it in 2020. Sign of the times...

I do agree with you on quality of porn.
But having said that...there is some damn good stuff being shot right now. Jules Jordan is killing it. So are the Madison's (Kelly Madison productions), Evil Angel, Joanna Angel, and a few others as well.

The real reason that free porn is killing the industry isn't the quality of stuff though. The real reason is that once a guy jerks off...he's done.
When the full scenes were tucked behind a members area paid login, then they would buy.

But once they cum for free? No way that they will THEN pull out the credit card and purchase.

But they still do pull out their credit cards. They sign up directly from Pornhub.

Free porn has always been out there.... Tube sites are the new TPG galleries. Then add in Tik Tok.

But Robbie knows all of this so he doesn't need to go to shows. Or maybe he doesn't know.

Porn isn't dead, it's alive a thriving. Paying for it is becoming a thing of the past and even though a site can get 1-40,000 views on a Tube. This is a far cry from the days of making people buy to view.

Back in the day I sold sample videos, made up of clips from the girls scenes for $8 a time, I sold 1,000s a month. I sold the full 1 hour tapes featuring a solo girl for $40 a tape and sold at least 1,000s a month. This was in the UK so limited to that market. The profit margins were huge. This is the power of forcing people who want to jerk off to porn, to buy porn. There were other companies in the UK doing exactly the same.

The birth of the Internet was the start of giving away free porn to get traffic and ratios fell.

You ran a TGP site so made money from giving away free porn, complaining now because others give away more free porn than you do is a bit rich. The only thing limiting what TGPs gave away was the ROI on costs of BW.

All that's needed to sell porn is a link to a tour, the tour has to be vanilla porn and access to the hard stuff has to be only for people who pay. Then people will find out the real power of selling porn online.

Huh? I was running TGP since you had to pay 250$ a month for 2 gb of bandwidth only and it was working perfectly fine with huge amount of traffic. BW is issue only with tube sites.

If the cost of BW were to return to those prices, ratios would return to the times of TGPs. Giving away less free porn means more people will pay. Imagine the sales that would come from 100 million a day.
