Being an Independent I do not have a dog in this fight - I haven't liked ANY US Presidents since Truman/Eisenhower/Kennedy - but I must say it's really quite odd that a supposed Billionaire uber-businessman like Trump refuses to show us his taxes or fully explain his failed businesses.
I may be a simpleton but if you have nothing to hide and are proud of your business accomplishments then you would eagerly show everyone how great everything is. Unless you are hiding something and not being truthful about your finances.

well, but that was his strategy - he was doing all to get into the forbes list ofthe richest people and many of his supporters think a good business man must be a good country leader.
but 1st: one have nothing to do with the other and 2nd he is a bad business man. he lives from pulling people over the table - make debts and donīt pay them back.
look at the US debt curve - not even in the worst crisis any president borrowed so much money. and NO good buisness man on this planet would come to the conclusion that you have to lower the income (tax cuts) and increase the debts.
not even a monkey would be that stupid - only trump as his supporters can not able to do this simple math.
if one understand economy he would also know that he have to get rid of this tax cuts - but he canīt do it officially.
so how can he increase the government income without telling the people that he was wrong?

20% tax cuts versus 25% tariffs is easy to count.
an it will be paid from the normal people - not from the multi billion companies.
trump is stealing prosperity from the americans thatīs fucking all.
he will never lose the trade war - the americans will lose it and pay it with a much lower personal prosperity.
the first ones who will feel that are unfortunately people like you - because people will start to save money on the things they do not need for their life - and one of it is porn.
but the MUCH bigger problem is, that even with another president after trump it will take DECADES til the world find back to trust the USA.
I do not know how people can think that a country that represents 4% of the world population can rule the world.
it is disgusting and the american image in the world is completely ruined.
and what that means we can see already in the "big deals" he made.
iran jumps out of the nuclear contract, kim is testing missiles again and china is working hard to unite asia into a union that is 3 times bigger than US and the EU together.
and if that is done you will see WHO is ruling the world.
maybe paul markham can tell you - as he is THE genius in economic questions ;-)
