Databases can also contain massive number of rows and huge size of entries. A MyISAM storage engine supports 232 rows per table, which is far far more than what average websites need.

WordPress creates entries other than the original post itself in the database. Each post can have unlimited meta attached to it, limited by the database itself. So if your posts are going to have a lot of meta data (Images, Custom fields, etc) then doing a heavy task such as a complicated meta query is gonna take considerable time and resources.

It is worth mentioning that you should clean up your database once in a while, to avoid unwanted performance decrease. You can either optimize it using scripts such as PHPMyAdmin or by using WordPress plugins.

Hosting doesn't matter much in this case, it's just that WordPress isn't fit for having millions of posts on a single install, at least not by default.

Keep in mind that I haven't even mentioned the search issue, which is a huge problem. Built-in search is just terrible.

Tube Ace should be more than adequate for niche websites, but saying it supports millions of videos (and high traffic that comes with it) is a bit of an oversell.

Building a tube and auto-importing videos is child's play. Getting traffic to it and monetizing it is the hard part.

Also, if you know just a bit of PHP, you could do the same with a multitude of plugins available on the market. Cyberseo, wp all-import, etc. And you won't be limited by the OPs plugin's features.

You could easily setup something very similar just using CyberSEO's plugin. No need for a programmer. Just knowledge of wordpress, custom fields and maybe some PHP to modify things.

I bought this script years ago. The script owner is availiable when it comes to money but ignore you when reporting all bugs in Tube Ace.

I would advise a solid script like MechBunny or KVS or a custom script.

I don't think there are any big tubes running on Tube Ace, because no experienced tube webmaster would use this script.

He is only looking for small webmasters who have no clue how this business works to make quick bucks.
