Finally we agree on something.

I've been saying this for years. Make different forums for different things - one for pornographers, one for porn fans, one for politics, one for general bullshit.... then allow us to petition for new forums.... Do we have a dozen Mustang owners, or Jeep owners? Great, make a section for cars and in the new section make an area for Mustang and Jeep owners.

Many 'mainstream' Forums do exactly this, especially music and movie ones.

GFY should ABSOLUTELY create a social media platform where we porners can 'tweet'/post our stuff. Especially since places like Tumblr and Facebook are banning porn and even nudity. BUT - and this is a huuuuge giant festering BUTT - only allow registered and pre-approved GFY members post on the new social media platform otherwise it will be Spam City and help no one.

Dont get me wrong, i find Theo,Kat, Roy and Panos to be great people, but i dont think they read this board at all.

The advertising revenue is so small compared to what they make with the trade shows that GFY was probably just thrown into the deal as a bonus.

Maybe this place can finally get the facelift it deserves, Wish luck to Theo Sapoutzis and Panos Sapoutzis on the new purchase, the Greek boys will fix this place up. :pimp

Of course I like them all - add Eric and Myjah as well - but it is very obvious that none of them gives a shit about this place anymore, you are correct on this.

And yeah, I can hear Eric saying "then don't come here" or "use the ignore function" or "don't be a sissy" - but I think I spent enough of my time on here for the last 15 years to be allowed to post my opinion about what this place has become. And my opinion is that GFY is by now very close to stormfront.org. And this sucks.


And PS: As an advertiser I would not spend a single penny on a place where members fantasize about killing innocent people and it has zero consequences.

Get Xenforo installed, much better UI and experience

will make a thread for suggestions/ideas soon. Luca from the things you suggested the 3rd was the best and we will probably go that direction.

As for xenforo i have mixed feelings, moved a big sports forum on it from vbulletin and the result was not what i expected. Better UI and experience, but less engagement somehow.

Add the simple change of @ mentions paired with email notifications and watch engagement skyrocket ;)

None of them read the boards. This has been the problem for some time now. No one has cared about GFY since Lensman left.

Hopefully they'll read the board and take notice of the alt-right hate fake nic troll and deactivate all the accounts he's bought or hacked here. He's driven so many industry people off this board with his hate.

The adult industry is made up of all types and having a board like GFY where anyone who's not an alt-right straight white male is relentlessly attacked daily doesn't make for good business, not to mention it's against GFY's TOS.

Let's hope the GFY TOS begin to be enforced again :thumbsup

If they were to put me in charge, first thing would be to put all the non sense posting on alert and then make everyone in the adult webmaster section prove they are or have been in the industry at some point or they would be gone forever!
They open up other sections for the general public of the age of consent and make this a fun place where being censored wouldn't be the main point of interest.

Iv asked Eric to put a list together of what nics are the same person and release it before he goes. If he is unable to do it, will you guys do it when yous take over?.
