They're saying the wires to the U.S. are the ones with issues :(

I see an error when trying to initiate wire to a bank account I have set to USD at Paxum (it would be better described as "a bank account that can receive USD and be converted to local currency" rather than "a USD account")

Unsure whether to do as Paxum instructs and convert to another currency, or wait it out until USD wires are reliable again.

I don't like workarounds, particularly when it comes to my income. It should just work. :helpme

Were you withdrawing in USD or CAD? It's my understanding that USD currency wires (regardless of destination) are disabled right now. So you need to convert to another currency before initiating the withdraw request.

Here's what Paxum says when I try to withdraw via wire (in USD) to an Australian bank account:

USD Wire Withdrawals to your location have been made temporarily unavailable as we cannot guarantee USD Wire delivery in a timely manner to your region. Please add a bank account in your local currency or in EUR to ensure prompt arrival to your bank account.

Ruth made a new thread about the wire situation

When initiating wire as Canadian resident it automatically coverts to Can dollars, no need to do an exchange between ''your accounts''

Right, that makes sense.

I changed my bank account from AUD to USD a month or two ago, because that was another temporary workaround that Paxum required in order for wire withdrawals to work. Everything seems to be so ephemeral.

Reox 07-18-2019 01:44 AM

i was trying another a wire request,
im seeing this:
"USD Wire Withdrawals to your location have been made temporarily unavailable as we cannot guarantee USD Wire delivery in a timely manner to your region. Please add a bank account in EUR to ensure prompt arrival to your bank account."

i hope it wont be like "PAXUM MASTERCARD" because they closed paxum card 1-2 years ago and it didnt come again, i mean i hope USD can available on paxum again.
Or we are already paying 1$ for every transactions (send&receive) and 50 bucks for withdraw, now they are wanting %2 for eur/usd, if you became EURO company, just tell us.

PornDiscounts-V 07-18-2019 02:44 AM

And...? (It's after midnight)

Nothing.

Fucking great.

PornDiscounts-V 07-18-2019 06:33 AM

After two weeks my first wire has arrived. It is missing $25. Hmm? Does this new company rip $25 per wire?

Just checked, and mine is $USD20 short. I guess some intermediate bank decide to dip their grubby paws into our funds.

Also my bank charged me an additional fee of $AUD12 (about $USD9) which they didn't for the paydek wires.

So a wire from Paxum now costs me all up $USD79

The descriptor is "1/PROBITAS FIDELIS LIMIT"

Unfortunately the correspondent bank is only sending with SHA and they cannot change it, so sometimes your bank will charge additional fees for receiving the wire. We are working very hard to get this resolved with the bank and are hoping that it will be resolved shortly.

pamon 07-18-2019 10:28 AM

Ok finally got my USD one this morning.

As a Canadian you should be able to withdraw in either USA or CAD, depending on what currency you enter into your bank account listing inside Paxum.

If you continue to have difficulties please reach out to me via email - [email protected]

My bank charges me wire fees on the 15th of the month. It is $22 per wire. So this $25 fee has to be from another bank.

Probably is. I've had fees imposed by intermediate banks with international wires and foreign (USD) cheques over the years. The discrepancy is usually some round amount like $25 or $50. So I'm guessing some bank in the SWIFT (or whatever) path has taken their fee for an employee spending a few moments on processing the transaction.

ANAL PASTE 07-18-2019 11:34 AM

Mine came in today. 2 1/2 weeks after submitting it.

I think there is some confusion here. There is no monthly maintenance fee in place, however if you do not perform any transactions inside your Paxum account within a 180 days period (6 months), AND ONLY if there is a remaining account balance, then the system will automatically charge $5 USD maintenance fee at that time, and once per month every subsequent month of zero transactions. We clearly state this on our FEES page, and it has been in place for well over a year.

FYI - I'll be in Montreal for Qwebec next month (August), so if you need to have an in-person conversation please feel free to hit me up to arrange a meeting. :)

Can you please clarify if payments received from others like an affiliate program within 180 days count as a transaction inside my Paxum account or do I have to make a withdrawl from my account every 180 days to avoid fee? Those are the only two types of transactions that occur in my account.

I don't give a fuck what you state on your site, because you also state on your site that I will receive a card I can use. I have paid for a card and there is no card available for me. It's not about the 50 bucks I paid for a card or 5 bucks maintenance fee or extra wire costs I have to pay now for wires that take ages to arrive of they ever do.

it's about the fact that Paxum has become unusable for me and lost a few 100 bucks. but if I stop using paxum to get paid, you scumbags are gonna charge me. You should be paying people their maintenance fees and extra fees and lost money back in stead of charging more fees.

rowan 07-21-2019 09:16 PM

Tried AUD wire this time. It arrived in a more timely fashion (less than 2 business days), but again the amount received is less than what was withdrawn (after Paxum fees).

Paxum withdrawal fee: USD 25.00
Received payment was short by: AUD 25.00 (about USD 18.00)

$25 is a nice round figure, which suggests an intermediate partner has taken out their own fee.

Obviously if I make a transaction to withdraw money I think it would count as a transaction and thus the "if you do not perform any transactions" would clearly not apply. Just wanted to know if I receive a deposit from someone else like an affiliate program if it would count as a transaction since although it is still account activity it is not made by me as Ruth's wording seems to suggest is required but I don't know how literally she meant that so was just looking for some clarity.
