sucks that i get the silent treatment now
|
Forget about it, if they missed a payment, they won't pay that particular payment, but maybe they will do future payments.
I have two pending payments from 2018. Never paid, always used Paxum. They did pay some in 2019 (new ones), but these two old ones - no. I was always told "they will look into it". Never did. https://i.imgur.com/V3uyfBy.jpg |
thanks for the feedback, Ramp, showing me that I am not the only one.
Fingers crossed I get the next payment to come shortly |
hoping for a holidays response.

like it, heheeh, persistence is key, or maybe i got too much time on my hands
|
wonder if they will pay both cheques, when i cross the payment threshold this year
|
Honestly they have more to lose.
If I was an owner I would pay that missing payout out of my pocket to avoid all this bad rep. |

To combine the missing amount into your next payout, they would have to trace down, and cancel the old cheque. That in itself is time-consuming, but that's the easy part. Because in the accounting, your amount shows up as paid, they would have to recalculate and restate their earnings. Even a small amount off, is not fun to deal with. Therefore, it is not worth their trouble to chase the amount down for you. |
Sounds like MovieGuy is 'defending' an affiliate company that doesnt pay.

It doesn't matter if it's "worth their trouble". They owe that money and they need to figure it out. Noone cares what steps they need to take. That's what employees are paid for, to do the work, even if sometimes it's not "fun". There are companies MUCH bigger and they pay like clockwork, and if there's a payment missing they quickly resolve it. A company can decide to shut down their affiliate program completely if they can't manage it. But they cannot choose to not pay what they owe. |
