Has MadChed always paid, or did they only stop paying recently?

No reason for MadChed to NOT to be paying their affiliates if thier cashflow/expenses are strong. They either dont care, or are trying to save money. NaughtyAmeria for example ran into money problems and stopped paying. All I know is Lansky was paid to leave according to several people.

They have always paid. A few people in this thread said they were paid recently.
If they wanted to save money, couldn't they just shoot one less $20k scene - as you said - over losing some small affiliate's, $200 payout?

The friction with Lansky is well known in the california production community, but that's a stretch to assume that means fiscal issues which no one knows anything about. But based on simple logic, there are much more effective ways for a company to handle cost overruns, such as reducing the budget on productions, or even laying off staff. Those are far greater expenses than a $200 affiliate cheque.

Yeah good point. Maybe they have scaled back on production, Who the hell knows. Its just very strange a big brand like that not paying out affiliate commissions, even if small. What other big program is not paying besides them? I cant think of any.

Badoink. A few years ago, they made the minimum super high, like $500 - $1000 . Pissed off a lot of affiliates, including trade partners.

I dunnno. Their margins have to be paper thin to do that. They have investors involved, 20k shoots, revenue is certainly down from their peak 3-4 years ago, even with adding additional sites. Lansky is now gone. You will see them cutting production costs down soon if they haven't already. They are super aggressive with missed sales also, I can see they are doing everything they can to convert sales, recently adding push notifications to their tours and being crazy aggressive with their mailers. I would assume they are billing $200k monthly across all their sites right now. Dont get me wrong they have the best content ever shot in history, and they've reached meme status, so I'm not knocking them. Im just saying, I think the brand isnt what it used to be and they are probably over leveraged - which explains why they raised the affiliate payouts and now have stopped paying affiliates.

How did you arrive at this number?

Let's assume a $20 per member billing average because they run discounts and partner trades, that would put them at 10k members, making them smaller than JT's glamcore sites, and that's not including cross-sales, upsells, DVDs, etc.

Public records show litigation alone, can bring in over $2 million/year

I think its a reasonable assumption that they're doing 200-400 sales a day including rebills with a $40/join average when you include the yearly memberships. I'm just sayin.

Out of curiosity, what do you think they are bringing in monthly? My point was MadChed has increased their payout threshold and now are not paying affiliates altogether, which means they are probably trying to save money. Either that or they don't care. Thier revenue is down from thier peak, I know that as fact.

Movieguy seems to be some sort of BLACKED apologist, on here claiming the little $200 affiliate is too much of a hassle for them to pay and doing backflips trying to explain WHY they dont pay. I beg to differ. The majority of their affiliates are on paxum anyway which takes 30 seconds to send out en masse so I dont buy it.

I have no idea their financials or what their traffic looks like. I do know from personal experience that $200k/mo is not a lot.

They ended up broke because they where blowing money on million dollar mansions to shoot. Everyone still got paid because CCbill handles their affiliate payouts. MadChed sadly, I think is going down the same route.

I am happy to report I received $102.10 via Paxum today. Not sure why they didn't send the older two payments of $118.69 and $113.70.

You should probably contact them, just like we have, to try and get your issues resolved.

An update from the new representative "going to be solved in the next 10 days".

I was told by another webmaster that used to work with people at Mad Cheddar that they're aware of the issues and saw the posts about it. Also said it will be fixed hopefully this week prior to the mid month payout.

Hmmm, one affiliate rep says 'solved in next 10 days' (as of Feb 06).

Now a different affiliate rep says 'dont have a time right now but, it will be asap' (as of Feb 11).

My problem dates back to June, so it's been at least 8 months of payout problems. Assuming they have new people in charge of payouts, that's gotta be a big dumpster fire fucking clusterfuck of a shitshow to sort thru.

Not sure what needs to be fixed. All they need to do is view thier stored payments in NATS and send the payments out.

It's (probably) not that easy. If you look at my original post:

I'm in the same situation with Madcheddar payments. They owe me a 256.00 payment from November. I contacted the support department at blacked.com and they keep telling me their affiliate team will contact me. I never have been contacted by their affiliate team. :(

months and months of GFY posting, emailing, crossing fingers, etc... all this shit over about 250 bucks... and still zero results... well, money is money but you could earn a lot more if you spent that time working and promoting some legit program.

Some of us are owed a little more than $250. And it's not like the only thing anyone owed money does is worry about when they'll be paid 24/7. I've personally spent about 2 hours total on this since November.

The truth be, I still want to promote their sites cause they do well, however, only if I get paid. I now have another $250 payment 'Stored' and 'Ready to Send', which should in theory go out March 1st. Curious to see what happens there.

My anonymous source did talk to one guy because the other guy is on vacation (go figure) and it sounds like he got the runaround. But my guy did basically threatened to go over the heads of the other 2 to see WTF is going on unless there's some movement tomorrow (Monday) so we shall see...

I too just got the 'on vacation' response from the guy who told me I was getting paid 2-3 weeks ago. He told me to contact him again if I dont get payment. Who tells someone to contact them, when they know they are going on vacation.

I was told that once the payment issue is fixed, all payment should be taken care of. Hoping that would mean that all of us who are waiting on money from MadCheddar, will get our money.
