You win the price for bring the most ignorant idiot pretending to be in the business.

Holding yourself to your own standart, you know nothing about selling porn online, because you never made a real profit (you public company records show it) and yet you spend most your time here running your stupid mouth... Broke ass troll. You should stick to counting your foodstamps

he paid his girls 300 a day and as he said sold it for 5000.

and he calls that "fair".

Second, many on this board know who I am and what I do, as I have done business with them.. Just because YOU don't, doesn't mean I refuse to tell people what I do.

I have said many times what I do on this board, maybe you should stop waiting for comments just so you can spew your dumbfuckery and actually read other peoples posts and you'd learn.

I had been in adult since 2000, and have ran MANY successful and unsuccessful websites. I was one of the first people to make serious bank off Paris Hilton's sex tape, and also one of the first sites in the genre of solo girl/babe websites.

I had also bought and sold many premium adult domains.

Now days I spend my time in mainstream building B2B SaaS products.

So you failed at porn and only made a living during the time it was easy.

As for solo girl websites, how many sets and videos did you buy for $2,000?

The point of a website is obvious. Sites aren't for telling those who already know what you do. They are to find new and better customers so you increase your income. By working on new business, better paying business or increasing business. Absolute fundamentals in marketing such as "the moving market" where one has to replace lost business.

Another self proclaimed idiot who knows nothing.

Your skills are in building/repairing websites not in porn or selling porn. If you can't tell the difference I doubt if you do this. Where is your website? And don't tell us you don't need one.

why are you trying to turn over every answer you get that doesn't fit into your world view?

he wrote clearly that he was also a webmaster in the porn biz and not unsuccessful.

if he now gets 300 dollars an hour for what he is particularly good at, why should he do anything else?

if you had had the chance in your life to earn 300 an hour then you wouldn't have thought about it for a second.

because someone here can do something especially well and earn his bread with it does not mean that he has no idea of the rest. the only one who has ZERO knowledge of anything is you.

What's the difference between a hand full of mags and 10 thousands of paysites?
What's the diffenrence between 1 x $5000 and 50 x $2000?

The market decided that Paul was getting overpaid at $5000 per set.
Paul's ego didn't agree with it so he refused to make another dime.
He learned the market a lesson not to fuck with him......... by simply retiring.
The market cries since then and never recovered the loss of Paul's absence.

All my new customers come through LinkedIn and word of mouth. That is why I spend so much time traveling and meeting people face-2-face. And its thanks to GFY and two major fails right after 2003 I ALWAYS meet people face-2-face before doing any business.

I BUILD companies and sell them at a profit, so my "brand" is ME.

One of my new services go live this weekend - keep an eye on the site https://www.XXXroi.com - will be sold within 6 months. I always have an exit strategy when starting new projects. The only thing I keep forever is my lovely wife and my old Vintage Toyota Land Cruiser.

It's one of five services I provide.

how many times do you think they pay him 5000 when they find out that the model got 300 for the job?

how many really good photographers would like to do that cheaper ?

look this guy i.e

https://pepbonet.com/portfolio/

this is called a photographer and he is also doing erotic shootings (really fine art)
he was already available in paulīs time for 250 per day.

I have spend millions in the past 23 years buying content, paying photographers and camera guys, producing content and licence content - i donīt really know why paul thinks we are all a bit dumb.

but there are so many that sell 10.000 scenes for 25.000 or 30.000 bucks that I do not even have to search much to find them.

even newer content can be found around 5-6 € when one is buying a lot.

and last not least there are paysites that do not only give a 12 or 15 minutes clips - they PAY when tubes are showing them.

so for WHAT should someone steal them?

iI was not referring to you specifically....But, if you look at the Content Market section of GFY you will see I was not far from the truth. If you buy a scene for 5 Euros then it is either a real shit or stolen. Period and full stop. Anybody who sells 10,000 scenes for 25,000 is selling a scene for 2,50. It just proves my point....but hey time to move on. :thumbsup

No disrespect to Thommy, but I couldn't help thinking that what you said was almost identical to an old Paul Markham quote...

actually i was referring to this old markham quote.

the difference is that he have no buyers for the price he wants but we do have more than enough buyers for the high priced clicks.

and i just recommend you to have a look in his sig - does that not say all about his "facts" ?

Blowout deal. 880 videos, 2,400 image sets, plus many RAW videos. $500.

but paul sells his shit for 0,75 - did he steal it?

and believe me there is much much more like this around and LEGAL.

if you can sell a scene 300 times for 5 what makes the difference as when you sell it 30 times for 50?

After a successful career shooting and selling porn we were hit by two disasters.

First my wife was in a near fatal car accident and expected to die in the night. She thankfully survived after 10 days in an induced coma in the trauma ward then 6 months in body caste.

Then I discovered the lump on my neck was cancer which was stage four. After intensive chemo and radiation it took another year to bring me back to anything like healthy enough to look after myself.

This happened mid 2007 to the end of 2009 and by then major customers in the US and UK had stopped buying any new material. This was a major problem losing large part of our magazine business meant we could no longer make the money we used to. Because online porn was never going to pay as much as offline porn.

I was also 60 years old and with money in my private pensions, money still coming in from the sites I decided to enjoy the last years of my life. Recently my kidneys gave in, due to the chemo, and I'm housebound.

So please stop saying I failed because I didn't make as much as people you pretend to know.

Take care of yourself Paul. Who cares what people say on GFY, we all know who are the real peeps in this industry, who talks shit, who talks a big game and the rest is just noise.

Sending you a load of positive vibrations for what ever over challenges life is throwing at you. <3

There are reasons people sell their content for less than we think it should be worth.

1) Online is the only place they can sell it.

2) Online is a secondary market or even third.

3) It's old content.

5) It's from a failed project.

4) They can sell it so many times the return is good.

Even shit costs money to produce. But for many this is the only place to sell.
