I can run my cars on Nat Gas and propane. In fact I can get myself a gassifier and then use wood gas or even garbage to fuel up

The facts are that fill ups are cheap and if I buy a gassifier I can fill my tanks with gas made from garbage. Plus it's absolutely CLEAN exhaust.

When you figure out CNG you'll understand it's not propane $.02

I've been driving a volt too since about 2014. My next car which I hope to get next spring will be fully electric. I'm done with Gasoline too and so is my spouse. She's eyeballing the Tesla Model 3 and I'm going to be so jealous if she buys one. :)


Maybe, but not everyone is adopting electric cars (nor is it always a good idea). Companies that provide electricity are preparing however which is why there is more sources of electricity now such as wind and solar than there was 10 years ago.

one is compressed gas, the other is liquid, both are used for cars but not simultaneously

Volkswagen and a couple others sell CNG cars directly from factory, LPG is usually installed as a replacement for regular gasoline.

As it has no numbers on it at all, its impossible to know with any detail whatsoever if you are getting better or worse economy or range from one to another.

And since you are driving in Montreal, you know the seasons change your driving habits. You use the air conditioner and summer tires in the summer and the heater and winter tires in the winter. Unless you are tracking all of that, and have an accurate detailed fuel gauge, you have no idea what your actual efficiency is.

I'm sorry to say but you are probably paying too much for your energy, especially since you live in Quebec where electricity is the cheapest in North American. Next spring, you should consider getting a nice new electric car. Lots of companies are rolling out some really cool models in 2020. Ask any of them to let you test drive one for a day or so and you'll probably be convinced.

Teslas around here are a dime a dozen. I was stopped at a light today and counted five around me. I have driven a bunch of Teslas... my friend sells them...and they are not like driving a regular gasoline car. They are sooooo much faster and the bang for the buck is enormous.
