There's no reason to ruin his life with a police report on what might be the first offense, that he might feel terrible about. On the other hand, he's now officially an adult. Maybe it's worth talking to him directly and explaining that you'll keep the video and file a police report the day you suspect that he might consider raising a hand on anyone else again.

"It was determined, however, at the time of the deputies' arrival there was no disturbance at the location between the victim and any of her neighbors," the release said. "The victim disclosed to the deputies she, allegedly, had been the victim of a sexual battery in November of 2016."
