My company is buying, but when I checked in my Google Analytics, the numbers were 40-50% lower than in the TrafficForce admin.. I was complaining and was suggested to set lower bid for the traffic.. Of course the lower bid resulted in lower traffic as well.
We are buying from PB Web too and with them we calculate payments based on GA data..

The suggestion to lower your bid was to help you balance revenue vs spend, we have no idea why your data is so off but the fact your bid resulted in large traffic losses, show you that the bidding system works well and others are really overbidding you. I explained this to you on Skype, I have never ignored you or let your messages go without giving you some form of an answer, why you feel the need to post here is beyond me.

Yes others are buying, some are paying multiples of what you are and it's why your volume is very low I'm afraid. This is an adult forum, and I was looking for people with similar issues, as we both know that you haven't really answered my question regarding why I see a huge difference between the numbers in TrafficForce admin and in my Google Analytics.
I am not badmouthing TF or You here, I am simply looking for others in the same shoe - or to find someone who can give me a proper explanation so I can find the error on my side.

Your bidding system works well - I never questioned it.

But you have to accept that reducing my bid is far from getting a solution for my problem. My goal is Not to get less traffic for cheaper - my goal is to see matching numbers in my GA and your system, so to "get all the traffic I pay for".
There is no way to blame GA in this game.
I'd be happy to raise my bid again and get more traffic and spend more at the 'TF shop', as - and I told you this as well - I am happy with the quality of the traffic what I get.

If I will ever get my issue resolved I will definitely post about it here. But so far I only found webmasters who had exact same experience, and No One told me he seems matching numbers. The reason some buyers are raising bid is simple: they have a budget hundred times more than mine, for a tube hundred times bigger than mine, and they are in a situation where they don't give a flying fuck about matching numbers, probably no one makes calculation there if the traffic actually worth to them or not, as they grow and already making a significant profit.

So no offense Ross and no hard feeling please, this is a board where webmasters are allowed to discuss their experiences in public. I shared no secrets whatsoever.

Or they just calculate revenue versus ad spend on their tracking platform, accept there are always click tracking inconsistencies and don't use Google Analytics :2 cents:

it really would not surprise me if the PB web traffic is not great, for the same reason my direct/type-in traffic is low-value for most advertisers--

it's repeat traffic who know the drill and have been to the site 1000 times. they're immune to the ads. Borderline worthless for advertisers.

it's real traffic, they're just not buying anything.

porn.com shouldn't have this problem due to the amount of unintentional type-in traffic they get (tons of people typing in "porn.com" not knowing what they'll get), and I would expect their prices to be high for this reason--as was mentioned by another user earlier in this thread.

I would certainly expect to pay more for porn.com traffic than PB web traffic.

I had this experience. It's been a couple of years so I'm hazy on the topic unless I look it up, but I recall it had to do with how google attributes the traffic.
You have to be more specific when you say the traffic is 50% less. Do you mean hits, users, sessions? It's important in GA and traffic force.

For example, google may count a hit as a pageload, but another stats program counts all http requests as a "hit".

Maybe if a user clicks a banner to go to your site, goes back, and goes forward again, that is counted as 2 users in TF, but a single user in GA.

The point is, what others said about budgeting your spend for revenue generated is correct, and there is a reason the traffic differs greatly from GA.

Also check to see if you hit your GA limits, because it starts discarding some events.

It can handle anything. Maybe your cheap server can not handle it? Spend $120 and it will fly like a rocket. My plugin is optimized extremely well. I'm an Assembler language coder and I know how the CPU works.

I had advanced assembler class in college (300 level) and don't think our professor knew what the fuck was going on. Everyone I knew in class faked output because we just couldn't get it to work and it was due next day. We were so scared but none of us got caught. TA gave me like 98 and took 2 points for some alignment bs. I swore not to touch this crap again but my second job was nothing but mainframe assembler. I still have nightmares about it.
