As of today I officially know 2 people who have died from the coronavirus. Both in their 40's, both overweight with no other known health issues and both black.

Just wanted to drop this off here to dispel any rumors. We all in this together. Do the right thing.

A couple of nurse friends from the UK have had it - Both are over it and one said it was terrible, the other hardly noticed...

I heard it spreads a lot from gas station pumps

Also, it there any website which show current quarantine status per each country? If not, then we should make it.

-- If you do have to venture out, change your street clothes to your inside the house clothes once you return - Just don't recklessly toss your street clothes in the hamper -

-- Stock up on anything and everything you can - Basically to reduce frequent trips to the grocery stores where the virus could be lurking -

-- Stay in the house - With this mandatory lock down, you better have stocked up on supplies including Propane for the BBQ outside- This virus will be with us a good couple of months and beyond -

funny how the deaths are listed for each country in one column but for the USA they are all over the place...like there are 20 different entries for the USA for each state...

We spoke to a cousin who is a nurse in NJ last night. She told us that people come in walking on their own, talking, joking... Twenty-four hours later they are dead. Their hospital is overwhelmed at this point.

I am in California, and already under a "shelter in place" order for the past four days now. We have a ton of food and water, everythign we need for a month or two.

I am at my house in New Jersey and Jersey is getting nailed with this pandemic - The "Instant Deaths" are up in North Jersey / Bergen County area (Right outside of New York) - We have 10 cases around here so I stay in the house -

We are under the shelter in place too - Three days ago this was our once busy shopping center - Now it's a ghost town -

it didn't spread that quickly though. It's been here for mos but we just didn't test for it. The numbers aren't doubling almost daily cause it's spreading. It's doubling cause people are finally getting tested.

Unfortunately the human race will always be susceptible to this kind of thing. We are the perfect host. Highly social, we tend to live in dense cities and we travel globally

Any virus that can infect humans will have an endless supply of hosts and be spread round the world within hours

Luckily the mortality rate of this one is relatively low (appx 1%). If it was as deadly as SARS then we really would be in trouble

I lived in a town near London - Someone went whoring in 'The Big Smoke' and caught crabs - The entire local population had them within a week - Those where the days!..

I have been home for 6 days, traffic is down, sales are down.

They say how asian countries (China and south korea) are recovering because people there actually follow quarantine rules while in europe seems a lot of people dont give a damn about it.
