This is a good guess, though everything was fine for 1 year. I am still debating with myself weather I want to enter my bank details on a site who's support is nonexistent and who cleared my affiliates without warning.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've never posted until now (I am their affiliate since Feb 2019) and was able to access the referrals page. I just posted something but I do not see the My Referrals menu and the referrals page still shows: The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed.

If for nothing else, it is a matter of principle. If they have an affiliate program and let me push traffic to them with the promise of a lifetime commission, then I want it.

+ I work with many content creators who use OF

+ I have their links planted on my sites and social media posts.

+ %age is not everything, I've seen some shady programs promising 50%

Anyhow, if/when this problem gets resolved I'll update this thread with details so it is helpful to the community. Until then my observation is that OF has cleared my affiliates and barred me from their program without warning nor relevant messages, that looks like shaving! Besides, support is silent.

Cool, no wonder you don't need affiliates with deals like those. Probably an old channel but as of now the requirement is that you have an affiliate program PornHub can apply to so they can be an affiliate of yours.

$tandaman 04-18-2020 11:02 AM

FanCentro's affiliate program is rocking, and you should look into working with us.. https://centroprofits.com

If you only knew how aggressive PH and OF models are promoting on reddit...
There are forums where the models are taught by PH support how to spam on reddit their spammy links only to earn few bucks. Reddit NSFW subs became a PH dependency.

What referrals they need?

if they are no longer paying out referrals, none of the models would get any sales. models have to bring in their own traffic. this doesn't make any sense. sounds like a dev error.

I have been there about 8 years :2 cents:

FYI: I have said above I had an affiliate program installed but never look at it:1orglaugh

drexl 04-22-2020 08:23 AM

Update: I have been told that I need to submit my ID before I can participate to the program.

This is obviously a new requirement: I have been an affiliate of theirs for over 1 year and I have the list of members I referred up until the point they cut me off.

Not that it doesn't make sense, but it doesn't justify cutting me off with no warning and a page that says "page doesn't exist". Hopefully they didn't clear my referrals.

To be continued.

yeah your referrals will show back up once you update everything :thumbsup

I just got it all setup and it was actually a breeze adding my bank info & an autofill w9 :)

Fuck affiliates, who needs them. They only suck money from website owners.... They are leaches who do NOT even suck out the virus I read here lately that Amazon, PornHub and now OnlyFans are dumping them, also complaints about CCbill, Epoch etc. programs. Good riddance who needs to pay the leeches up to 50 % of your honestly earned revenue. I hope that this trend will continue and the affiliate programs will all go to the same bin VHS cassettes went ....

It was a breeze for you but it isn't a walk in the park for me.

Remember I have been their affiliate for 1 year and then I had to figure out what was wrong after finding out by luck that they changed the requirements for being an affiliate (I always had access to the referrals page and I have a list of referrals).

Now check this out:

After submitting my ID, they went on rejecting my application for "incomplete profile" asking me to fill in fields that were marked optional such as "website" or "about".

I don't need a profile, I want to refer members to their platform. I may submit my content later and then I will need a profile. But anyway, let's go with that.

After filling in the said missing info and resubmitting, I was rejected for using third party content. I can only assume it is because of my avatar which is the only image I have their for now.
I am not a model so I used an image in my avatar coming from Pexels (free license). I did this to pick an image that represents what I do (sexy content) without showing nudity (not allowed in avatars).

Then I sent an email to their compliance with a link to the free license. No replies.
I pinged their support on Twitter too.
And nobody to speak to so I can rectify and do what they want.

In your experience, as an affiliate (not a model), what kind of avatar and banner do you guys have on your OF's profile? :helpme

damn sorry to hear that... I hear you loud and clear as I noticed they removed the referrals awhile ago but I hadn't really used the site at all so I did not personally care.... but if I had referrals and models I would be a bit pissed off too... but MFC is taking over and fixing things up the way they want so they are forcing folks to jump thru some hoops...

even though I mostly use the sites as an affiliate I approach it as if I am a model to get setup and started, I don't like putting my own pics on the net so I cosplay as Kenny from South Park and always have an orange hoodie or some sort of mask covering my face... and I have a verified CB profile that i use as my website usually to show the site owners I am an "active" model as it helps grease some wheels...

I hope you get it all fixed soon and get back to business :)

Paul Markham 04-24-2020 03:17 AM

Let me educate you for a little while because reading this thread confused me. Affiliates have no god-given right to a program. They have no god-given right to anything until they send profitable traffic that no one else can send.

They also have to send traffic models to want to perform to. They have to send enough traffic to warrant the commission rates. Finally, the company has to want to pay out commission.

At 50% and upwards how long did you think it would before large companies started to weed out the smaller guys?

How long before companies said we would be better off paying out less or even nothing at all to affiliates?

This is the way all businesses are run. You send them traffic because they are the best for you, they accept your traffic because you are best for them. You or they can leave when they like.

A lot of good producers were held back by the Commission rates. Some just ignored affiliates and did their own thing.

Everyone else needs affiliates. Sure you can buy traffic if you're an experienced media buyer and have a substantial budget. But there's still nothing that's more "profitable" than free traffic. In other words, every time an affiliate makes a sale that is one sale I myself, and all my efforts, did not bring in (tube submissions aside). So yeah, give me affiliates!!

Only thing is you don't send free traffic, It would be great if you did.

drexl 04-24-2020 03:58 AM

I am not sure if it was for me but if it was:

Let's not assume that I send non-profittabe traffic. I am a social media influencer with ~60 million impressions per month on Twitter with 1 of my several accounts. I also have websites with decent SEO that have model/pornstars profiles.

Daily I receive messages from models who want me to promote their onlyfans account.

It is not PPL, it is revshare if my traffic was not converting then they don't have to pay anything.

Secondly I don't believe I have a god given right to a program. The company can reject my application by saying just that: your traffic is not profitable or whatever instead of asking me to complete optional fields on my profile.

In any case, communication is the problem here: they silently changed the requirements for being an affiliate, even for existing ones. Blocking access to lifetime existing referrals is nothing less than shaving. But let's give them the benefits of the doubts, I have reapplied yet again to see if my profile will be approved.

Let me explain to you how it works. You conform to the companies legal requirements of you go and promote someone else. There's no special exception for you because you work to your own rules.

Who says a company can't just promote itself?

Organise TGP partnerships, advert, social media. There's no written rule to say sites have to go via affiliates.

drexl 04-25-2020 04:28 AM

Reminder for context: the reason I started this thread is because the referrals page had disappeared for me, I was getting "Page no Longer Exist" and no more "new referrals!" notifications were received. Furthermore support was not replying to me, I assumed they terminated the program.

Drexel- This exact thing happened to me. I've been referring models / content creators for a year. Then I noticed recently that I haven't been getting emails about my referrals since January. So I logged in and the affiliate section was missing. So I email them, they tell me I need to verify ID and add bank info. This is a form of shaving: they don't cut off everyone so that the ones that aren't cut off come out and testify it still works. "not cool" is putting it mildly.

The URL you posted is the erroneous one... the URL that shows you a list of your referrals is the one I originally posted. You might have noticed it follows the same pattern as other private OnlyFans URLs using the /my/ path:

/my/settings/
/my/banking
/my/payments
/my/referrals
