It's hard to tell what's the reason.
It all started as a political conversation around the topic "we must stop violence against women".
And then From "stop violence to women" it derived somehow into "block porn to minors".

All professionals from our industry agree that violence to women must stop, and that minors should not access porn.
But the methods they're about to implement are probably questionnable in their efficiency... and their real motive.

Talking about real motive... are they sincerly trying to protect women and minors, or is it a mix of PR stunt to gain popularity and take advantage of the situation to implement more control over individuals surfing the net ?

What's interesting is that it started in the UK, then they dropped it for several reasons... and now France puts the same stuff on the table. And apparently Italy and Germany are also being inspired.

Anyway, i feel like the FemiMcCarthyism is losing slowly it's influence.
On the other hand, there are may be to many sex scandals in France: since politicians are less and less popular, people criticize them with what they have.

For teenagers, first they are not customers and then i'm still waiting for a scientific consensus on the fact that watching sex is harmful for teenagers.
I mean beside that purely moral PoV.
Usually watching animals doing it (in a farm for example, because back in the time, there used to be a lot of farmers... with children), this is Nature. But watching people doing it, is some kind of witchcraft that is harmful...
What about a delivery ?

Politicians have to justify their living and fill up their resume. Preferably with perceived righteous causes.
