I´ve only just seen this thread and was shocked, immediately tried his skype and didn´t receive a reply, so was quite upset, the guy´s a great guy, one of the longest honest runners in the business and should be on the GFY wall of fame if not already.

I think he is a idiot, but dont have any ill wishes towards him. But that said I think him being dead/alive is relevant to the community - like him or not. The reason for leaving was a lot due to the way the industry has become fixated on traffic, webmastering, etc. It seems to ignorethe one fundemental that puts cash in everyone's pockets.

What the customers want, be they free surfers or buyers. They all want content.
