as for cost of living, you can get by on 500$ or on 2000$ it depends on your lifestyle...it depends on how high your standard is...shit will never get better here so the prices will always remain low...nice... |

Oh yea, that's right, that imaginary money couldn't buy real estate so it was left in your imagination. Now you have, again, imagined you are actually building something. Quote:
Yea, let me see if there's some bridges on sale there also. I hear that sells like hot cakes. |

Cause corona madness i will travel from Europe to Mexico next month. Brazil is really cheap now after the BRL crashed while it was going down already for years. Building is much easier in those lands, no need for a complete heating system. And just use some light weight stones. In Holland everything is triple isolated :) |

you beggar, tell me, how big is your tiny ass western apartment? I will make a swimming pool and garages both bigger than what you live in :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh http://static.dezeen.com/uploads/201...een_3_1000.gif |

https://www.archdaily.com/590859/res...ecture-network You're again building stuff in your imagination. Other then that, land is pretty cheap in zimbabwe, maybe you could afford something there, and still manage to live in the middle of shithole nowhere thinking "you made it". |

the steel crap that goes in this is 70cents per kilo "lose" or 80cents per kilo "tied"... I am too lazy to work out how much the pool will actually cost...I will laugh at any price they give me and have the cash in my pocket at any given time... |
Quote:
For steel, you need 500-700kg for the floor alone = uppps the €500 I told you 8 mm dimensions in sections of 2350x5000 mm 150x150 mm masks, is 62.5 kg each And then comes the ICF.. those are NOT cheap Then comes the painting or surface treatment and are you and your slav army gonna dig the hole by hand to keep cost down? What about around the pool? gonna just let gras or gravel fall into your pool? |
Spain sounds good for me or some Switzerland village with mountains.

Lived in Spain for 24 years, lived all over it.
Not as cheap as it used to be, but the smaller cities are great, if you've got an income and don't need to find a job there. Cadiz, Almeria, Cartagena all good choices. |

I've left France in 2005 for 3 years in Belgium.
And since 2008 I'm living in Bulgaria. Awesome country and people, fantastic region of the world, all countries around Bulgaria are worth visiting and re-visiting: Greece, Romania, Serbia, Turkey, Cyprus... just to name a few. It's beautiful, affordable, well located and connected to the world. And we're there to stay apparently ;) |
If Starlink works anywhere near the way it's supposed to, I wont be telling anyone where I'm going.

What's the catch with these? Could a typical "I Love Istanbul but I've never been anything but a tourist" type do ok buying one of these? Very low price - suspicious - they also don't seem to exist yet so you're buying a project that may never happen? What's the catch?
