I think the most interesting take away is how people project their own failures (or successes) onto the rest of a fairly large industry.
VR guy thinks it's the only profitable thing ever, but there's many pay sites making way more than him in a very profitable fashion. Guys barely making 6 figures thinking it's impossible that others are making 9 figures, etc. |

This is why I focus on MY definition of success, not what other companies or other individuals are doing. That's a loser mentality and you set yourself up for failure because there will always be someone who has more than you do. So best to focus on what you have and need and what makes you happy rather than comparing yourself to others. :thumbsup |
Everyone I know has moved to onlyfans :2 cents:

As an avid porn consumer and now VR owner, the only time ive paid for porn in my entire life has been with VR porn because you cant find quality vr porn for free, and when you are sitting there with your quest on and a tiny joystick to do all your typing aint noone got time to fuck around looking for free vids.
Plus with the rise of crypto and being able to pay for VR porn for 1 month and not need to sign up to an endless subscription it makes it so much easier and anonymous (to prying eyes) also PH's vr section is garbage. I do think VR porn is the future and a growing niche but I think interactive VR porn is where its at, and AR porn will be when the technology is here. |

I actually know a lot of numbers. A lot of people that I talk to, normally overestimate the size of some paysites. Then on this board, everyone thinks paysites are dead. I can tell you that we are growing monthly, as quite a few paysite I've been talking about. So far, the Covid has had far better results then we ever expected. It does bring new challenges though. I also hear that in a few years, only a hand full of players in the industry will be left. (Mindgeek, Gamma, Xvideo...) I think bigger companies will take more space, but there will always be room for smaller players, with a more personal touch to their sites. |
