Interesting additional info: in November this channel had 660k video views. In December 690k. So the number of video views even increased.

Definitely good idea. Trickier for paysite owners because the platform and their paperwork is designed more for models.

Speaking of models: the ones on PH lost revenue too, and most dont know, and are not involved, in pornhub's history on the industry. Pornhub has been a great platform for them so PH is not all bad.

I also agree with you and the owner. Although mindgeek has debt payments that probably come first, the tubes are operated as a separate entity and should have built up profit for situations like this.

This is definitely not some normalization or scam pornhub is pulling on content partners. They had 1 million premium members in 2019, likely more today. That's a loss of at least $10 million per month. As cynical as some of you may think, that's too much money to ignore and they are fighting hard to get processing back.

Perfectly reasonable action. I do caution that pulling your content, can negatively affect your standing with the algorithm so that when everything goes back to normal, you may not recover the ranking and featured traffic as before. The algorithm prefers consistency, favouriting, and playlist additions. You wipe that out if you pull the content. I would suggest staying for a couple of months and if pornhub does not resolve the issue, that's when you should think about pulling the content.

In the meantime, there are other platforms.
Xvideos is investing more into marketing and promoting Xvideos RED. Their traffic is up.

PornDan recommends xhamster, but xhamster's contract was bogus the last time I checked. It had some clause saying they could do whatever they wanted with the content including resell it. Ask that to be removed before you sign with them.

First, let me point one of the very glaring incorrect statement PornHub never made any payments nor had an add share program for producers, PornHub Premium (PHP) did

Some people here do not quite understand how PHP works, it is a paid members area completely separate from PornHub which is free and advertising supported.

In PHP the payout went from $30 for 1,000 views to $12 for 1,000 views which is of course to be expected since they could not process credit cards for the members for over 2/3 of the month

In all likelihood, PHP will be rebranded now that is spun off from PornHub as they are operating as two completely separate sites now.

I am sure that PHP will get processing back from Visa and Mastercard - since that site never allowed anonymous uploading - and once it does it will go back to its normal payouts

Got mine but it was less. Anyone else putting all their vids as free instead of premium now? Such a pain in the ass. Not sure if I should just leave it alone and see what happens or at least try to make a little money till they figure things out.

You can tell them to pause your premium videos and resume them when it's over.

You can leave it alone and stop new uploads for a while, but definitely don't pause or take your premium vids offline until things are back to normal. That will destroy your traffic.

While you may not be making money from premium, your videos are still reaching a market of paid users who will, and do check out your website. Many become members.

PH recently added some new Channels for me so I am moving ahead "as normal" tho I am still waiting for my January payout. I have been riding the up-and-down waves of this industry for too long to start changing up things now out of panic. Let's see how this all plays out.
