It looks like you have a real hardon for crypto. Who is this "they" you keep talking about?
Are you butthurt because BTC is out of reach for you now? BTC is nothing like the stock market, nothing. Your comparisons are without merit. Fiat is manufactured without restriction with nothing backing it up except the government printing it. There is no gold standard anymore. Point your anger and frustration in the proper direction. Facts are facts and most of us recognize that. Your arguments contradict each other. There are apples and there are oranges. Don't confuse the two.

You don't know the meaning of ponzi, so your misuse of the term reveals your blind hatred, that's a reputation killer, but not to worry, this is GFY, we're here to help :winkwink:

By definition alone, Ponzi schemes must fulfil the following criteria:
Secrecy – Bitcoin is open source. Anyone can see it at any time.
Complex – many millions worldwide are capable engaging with cryptography behind the Blockchain that Bitcoin is built upon.
Unregistered Investments – In the developed countries, Bitcoin is now classed as a registered asset and gains are taxable under capital gains.
Low risk, high investment returns – in the short term, Bitcoin has had negative or flat growth. Over many years, it may generate returns.
Overly consistent returns – Bitcoin returns are only consistent over 4 year windows.
Unlicensed sellers – most exchanges are registered and compliant with that country’s regulations. Those exchanges that don’t have adequate security have been hacked and others have lost investor confidence. This has streamlined the number of exchanges.
Paperwork issues – Bitcoin code, though complex, can be monitored and reviewed by anyone, anywhere. Crypto exchanges are now micromanaged by relevant taxation departments.

Everything has a market, with people betting for or against a product, service, asset, mineral/metal, technology

What do you consider an "investment"?

How about Iranian Rials? How about the Vietnamese Dong? Love me some Indonesian Rupiah. Gotta gotta have some Uzbekistani Som. Gonna buy me some Sierra Leonean Leone too! A couple of bushels full of Guinean Franc would be nice! No Laotian Kip, you're kidding! Paraguayan Guarani, I couldn't carry enough to buy some coffee. Give me a wheel barrel full of Cambodian Riel. I'll be tipping with Ugandan Shillings.

One dollar worth of each of the above currencies would fill 2 dump trucks. I guess I'll be sticking with Bitcoin. Some argument you have there. Gambling, that's a hoot. Life's a gamble.

- paper money is safe
- any market is too risky
- bitcoins lows rise every year, but the volatility is too much
- all markets of everything is a casino

Mentioning failed fiat in no way makes your casino coin a sucess...you do not adress any of the obvious weaknesses because you know its detrimental to your claims.....the ugandan failed currency at least had a bannana republic behind it...bitcoin has an army of gamblers...

You really have no argument at all, just your opinion. I suppose you think the earth is flat too. Bitcoin is a reality, just as real as a dollar bill except there is a finite amount of BTC, but the US can make as many dollar bills as they want when they want. The market decides that's all. Now tell me, how do you post on this forum using a typewriter?

Tasty1 02-08-2021 02:37 AM

Lol, just found out i had 50.000 dogecoins in a wallet. Didn't look at my altcoins for 3 years. bought for 250 usd and now 3000 usd. I remember it was less dan 50 usd. I put in 15.000 about 3 years ago in altcoin. Had some Lend (Avee), Swissborg, Cardano that survived the altcoin killings. I remember it was totally 750 usd at one moment. Not worth selling. maybe i should just let it stick there and look again in 3 years. Just a little more up and making profit on the alt coins. who knows, i have some more coins that are almost worthless. They can go up again.

Dogecoin is great. It does just what is must do. No need for a dubious white paper. Just a coin and blockchain.
And than the marketing, it is perfect.
Everyone knows the coin that started as a joke and no use. Great story. Better than explaining a whitepaper of 100 pages.

You're going to buy Doge now, at ATH, after Tesla announced they're going hard into Bitcoin?

Btw, every exchange has it, i still feel Doge'rs gonna get rekt hard when the hype fades

This...
I guess your safest bet is to directly place different sell orders (at different rates), right after buying.

Edit: and don't set your asking bids too high, better to take your profit quickly with pump and dumps like these. And I think the dump will be huge...

Bought my first cryptos in 2014. So yeah, the first thing you'll learn during a bear market - never become a bag holder of alt coins... Hypes don't last very long.

yes there is 21 hundred million million satoshis...you guys are desperate to scam people to invest in your bullshit coin while ignoring the fact that the unit the huuuuuuuuuuge bulk of all "investors" (gamblers) have is sathoshis and not coins...you are also desperate scammers because you ignore than BTC is wide open to exchangers being closed...you must not address this huge point because it absolutely destroys any idea of BTC being anything but an unstable ponzi scheme...

Are you talking about the stock market now? You have a poor tired argument. In fact, you actually don't make any sense at all. You sound like Walmart moved into your little town and you lost your job at the grocery store. Does someone pay you or do you pay yourself? Because however you get the money you need to eat, clothe and shelter yourself it came at the expense of someone else. So are you seeing how far out on the limb of the stupid tree you're getting?

jscott 02-08-2021 08:32 AM

You need to prove I'm a desperate scammer. You accuse you lose. On the other hand, you are a dickhead and I can prove that by referring people to any single post you've made on GFY.
So prove I'm a desperate scammer or STFU. Admin please don't ban this butthead, he's almost entertaining.

I think best way to deal with haters is by ignoring them, and spending own time in more productive ways. They just gonna hate, cause of of jealousy and other emotional problems they are not even aware of. Not a very healthy stuff, best avoided.

ruff 02-10-2021 10:10 PM

If I had any Dogecoin I think I would sell as fast as I can. As soon as this little fascination with it passes, it will drop like a stone and you will have to wait another few years for someone else to hype it. I don't think there are more than one or two nodes running in the world for Doge.

Tasty1 02-11-2021 12:16 AM

i haven't look at binance long time. Al those lending, futures, margin coins. I think this time it will blow up 3,5 10 times more. People can now take a loan. If it goes down, will go down fast. But can rise also faster and higher. People love to borrow money to gamble.

Yes, it is getting crazy. If you have a normal job you won't be able to save money for a house in Holland, or you must get a raise of 20% a year. If you have more than 100.000 euro on your account, you pay the bank 0,05% interest. They even have a sign on their site to put your money somewhere else. They don't want it.

Just busy with a new mortgage for a friend, that will be 1,2% for 30 years, only pay interest, not paying back next 30 years. Matter of time before the bank pays you to take care of their house.

Yes, the hyperinflation will become serious when the stock Market crashes. It's all being parked there for now. Those negative interest rates are big red flags. I'm only interested in bitcoin/litecoin/gold/silver.

Personally i think when there is a crash, everything goes down. Silver, gold, bitcoins. After the dip some might get back up faster. The best would be real estate. That will also crash, but the rental prices only go up cause there is a shortage in Holland.

In Holland people never had so much money in the bank. You hardly can spent it when everything is closed.
