Yes, it is getting crazy. If you have a normal job you won't be able to save money for a house in Holland, or you must get a raise of 20% a year. If you have more than 100.000 euro on your account, you pay the bank 0,05% interest. They even have a sign on their site to put your money somewhere else. They don't want it.

Just busy with a new mortgage for a friend, that will be 1,2% for 30 years, only pay interest, not paying back next 30 years. Matter of time before the bank pays you to take care of their house.

Tasty1 04-14-2021 01:58 AM

Needs a long drop to lose my money, still profiting. Hodl from 0,0085 USD.

If Elon musk talks it to 100, i might buy a Tesla.

Ofc it'll drop, it always does, you're far from a Nostradamus.

But keep in mind, you've been promoting this "Bitcoin will drop" since when, $10k, or $20k? :upsidedow

Tasty1 04-15-2021 02:23 PM

Damn Doge crashed to 19 cents

Yes, the hyperinflation will become serious when the stock Market crashes. It's all being parked there for now. Those negative interest rates are big red flags. I'm only interested in bitcoin/litecoin/gold/silver.

CaptainHowdy 04-15-2021 04:28 PM

Have fun, guys.

Personally i think when there is a crash, everything goes down. Silver, gold, bitcoins. After the dip some might get back up faster. The best would be real estate. That will also crash, but the rental prices only go up cause there is a shortage in Holland.

In Holland people never had so much money in the bank. You hardly can spent it when everything is closed.

zijlstravideo 04-17-2021 05:19 AM

Damn... sold too soon hihi (a while ago, after the first pump).

It's kinda genious though, that of all coins, a meme coin like Dogecoin gets such a huge pump in 2021 haha. Oh well, to the moon and beyond!

In a few hours 4-20-2021 it is dogeday! Who is Hodling?
It is now at 0,40 cent and all time high was 0,45 cents.

yes I did...you can not buy 0.12 stradivarius violins...you can only buy 1 whole violin...there are x amount of stradivarius and no more...1 stradivarius is the smallest possible tradable unit...the scarcity is obvious...there are say 30 total violins (random number I pulled out of ass)

bitcoin is a name...100.000.000 satoshis is one coin...a coin is an imaginary unit...it is not real...only 3% of ALL wallets have more than 1 bitcoin...97% of ALL wallets have SATOSHIS...

https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-ri...addresses.html

the huge bulk of all actual trade is done in.....wait for it.......wait for it.....wait for it.......SATOSHIS!....can you REALLY and HONESTLY say people are using bitcoins or satoshis??? <------reality exists

yes the total number of bitcoin is limited...the total number of dozens of bitcoin is also limited...as is the total number of any arbitrary amount...but fact remains, we do not trade in millions of dollars but in dollars...we do not trade in tons of gold but in grams (jewlery stores etc)....reality: sathoshi market

so one hundred million x 21 million = 21 hundred million million satoshis...

nail in the coffin of your argument: the smallest divisible unit of one stradivarius violin is one...in the real world, one stradivarius violin is sold not half...maybe somebody purchased a broken violin LOL but you get the point :thumbsup bitcoin is a name for 100million satoshis...

let me know if you get confused again :thumbsup

you can not buy 0.12 stradivarius violins...you can only buy 1 whole violin

If I take your violin and smash it into a million pieces and build a million tiny violins from the rubble. Each violin will be 0.000001 of a full violin.

I don't think they care. They are fiat gamblers using Doge (or alts) as casino. I'd dare to say majority of them didn't experience the '18 situation :helpme

But hey, who knows, they've done well til now, hopefully Elon won't let them down! :1orglaugh

We can compare if you'd like.

1, Bitcoin has active devs, Doge does not.
2, Bitcoin does not rely on 2 humans to control it's price
- 1.) Elon and his tweets
- 2.) the person who controls this wallet (he owns 1/4th of Doge supply)
3. Bitcoin is secure, do you know what makes Doge secure or not?
4. Doge is an altcoin, alts have a history of coming & going, dying, scamming, disappearing, rearranging from 100th biggest to 5th, or 10th to non-existent (check history of Coinmarketcap, see what were the top 10 3 years ago, 5,, 8 etc)
5. Dogecoin supply is designed to expand forever. Bitcoin is finite.

List goes on, but there's a good quick start :winkwink:

Love to see all gamblers winning, I just find it hard to see any value in Doge and most alts, that's why I don't hesitate to point out fun facts like this :)

How about we lit some other coins. Love to see some input on
XLM
ADA
LTC
XRP

Curious, what are your allocations to those, and why? and what % allocated to Bitcoin?

1. Doge does have active developers.
2. Yes that big wallet is probably the biggest issue with Doge IMO. But as to your other point, It's not just Elon, many people are involved and many many more are getting involved.
3. I'm pretty sure, Doge is pretty secure (and yes I wanted that to rhyme).
4. Good points. But, Bitcoin can of course also swing wildly (as you know)!
5. "Expand forever" is one of those buzzwords y'all anti-dogers love to use to scare people! I don't remember the exact # of years (either 25 or 35), but dogecoin's supply can, at the most, double within the next 25 or 35 years.. so it's not just going to wildly expand forever.

Here's what Elon Musk said about that:
"Doge appears to be inflationary, but is not meaningfully so (fixed # of coins per unit time), whereas BTC is arguably deflationary to a fault.
Transaction speed of Doge should ideally be a few orders of magnitude faster."

Here's what Mark Cuban said about that:
"Any asset that has inflation by definition is “infinite” [b]ut that doesn’t diminish it. It changes the utility from store of value to potentially a digital currency. It’s the fact that they create 5b a yr that keeps the per coin price low, which makes it more accessible
Mark Cuban
@mcuban
This is exactly why people will buy physical products with doge coin and not with btc and rarely with eth. It’s hard for someone with $100 to get excited about owning a fraction of btc or eth. It’s easy with doge. When it appreciates that makes those items easy 2 buy"

So yeah, bitcoin is the new digital gold/store of value. You'd agree on that right?
People are already transacting with Doge and the # of merchants accepting it as a form of payment is only going to increase this year (probably exponentially so).
