Well, you are right on the first point I concede. :) But on the second point I disagree. We live in an instant culture with extremely short memories. While academically we can still study the past, erasing it entirely from modern current culture is a mistake that will lead, not to a better Utopian society, but to a generation doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past. Once again it seems that parents today want governments and corporations to teach their children values and what's right and what's wrong about history.

You can watch cheesy documentaries about it on Youtube, History channel, etc.. Even read cheesy fiction books about it, too!
