Just heard these horrible news. Truely shocking just met again in Prague less than a month ago.

First time I saw Julius was at TES Prague 2019 and talked with him once only at Webmaster Access in Amsterdam the same year.

In Amsterdam after a one of the dinners I was waiting for my collegue to finish up something so that we can order a uber to get back to the hotel.

He saw me waiting and offered me to tag along with him in the uber he just orderd, and that is the first time he spoke to me and sadly the last.

Showing such kindness to a complete stranger says a lot about Julius.

I regret not exchanging more words with him.

JFK was really a nice guy - had a couple of dinners with him and more than a few drinks over the years. Respects to him and his family.

He made me a better TRADE SHOW photographer by teaching me the art of the speedlight. I miss you man. Say hi to my mom and dad please. The industry lost a class act that everyone loved.

Very sad news.
Feels like an era has ended.
My first memory about JFK goes back to the first Mallorca show where he lost his camera in the sea and where our flight didn't take of back to Amsterdam. We had a great extra night in El Arenal.
Also his covering of the SnowGathering in 2006 together with his brother Lazslo was an awesome time.

All these shows and flights must have been exhausting to do. Great job done!

first few times i talked to julius, i thought he was a dick... then i realized two things, so am i and under that grumpiness was a really fun guy to get to know.

This is really sad. I met JFK at a Phoenix forum in the early 90s. (The same dhow I met JDL). Like everyone else has said, he was a very nice person and very helpful. The industry has lost a good person.

I remember when JFK first entered into the biz with his camera always in hand. Instantly I knew that he understood that our industry is real community and there was a need to document great times with photos.

I threw the Players Ball for you all and he was there every time sliding into the backstage area to get pics I'd never let anyone get. Why? Mainly because I liked him. I truly wanted to help support JFK and his business. I'm also very appreciative that he's collected so many legendary shots from not only my events but all of the trade shows too.

We've stayed in touch over the years. He even reached out to me after my near death experience back in June. He was a caring person and as nice as they come. I can't even imagine what an adult trade show or event would look like without him there.

I'll miss JFK and will be forever grateful for his friendship over the years. It's been a long time since I've posted here which shows the power of how JFK was the glue that kept this industry together.

I'll be sure to recognize JFK at our Affiliate Ball coming up Nov 3rd in Vegas featuring Method Man, Harry Mack and "Bud Bundy".

RIP ol friend and genius at capturing the adult industry family in pictures from beginning to end. Everyone wanted to have their picture taken by him - and likely wise everyone wanted to go to fubar to relive the good times.

I just wish that more people had shown up in Oshawa Ontario for the Celebration of Life that was arranged at his club - was an honor being there and chatting again with his family and see some old friends - but not enough.

He had a club? I never knew that. But i’m dumping my canon and going Nikon. He was big on Nikon
