Is there any other historical leap for mankind that was never built upon and refined? The wheel? Voyages of discovery? The car? The plane? Satellites and space stations? Half a century ago we could send people to the Moon every six months to play space golf, and now with 50 more years of scientific and technological advancement, and at least two additional space superpowers - EU/ESA and China, plus potentially India - nobody has even attempted it for some reason... When 130,000 people worked on the Manhattan Project many, if not most, didn't even know what they were working on until the bombs dropped, and there are many examples of state secrets that we only know about because they were declassified decades after the event. |
Weird that I have never watched someone walk on the moon even though they have been there since before I was born. Weird to think about. Looking forward to seeing it live.

The moon is just a light and it's easy to prove it :
- You can see the blue of the sky through the moon. This is impossible if the moon is a solid object - You can see stars through the moon, it's been proven by astronomers for centuries. This is impossible if the moon is a solid object. For these 2 reasons - and there are many more - the moon is just a disc of light, probably a plasma. No one is "going back to the moon" This is just another BS story to keep the masses entertained... |

An eclipse is an astronomical event that occurs when an astronomical object or spacecraft is temporarily obscured, by passing into the shadow of another body or by having another body pass between it and the viewer. fiddy fake ass moon rocks |
Instead,
I would like to see a focus on long distance space probes. Like Voyager 1 & 2. |
Here is the president announcing it.

But the sure thing is that the moon is only a light in the sky. It is not a solid object. |

I piss on you and on what you think you retard
I will repeat it again : - You can not see the blue of the sky through the moon. This is impossible because the moon is a solid object - You can not see stars through the moon, it's been proven by astronomers for centuries. This is impossible because the moon is a solid object. |

Some people found God, others never will, it's a hard motherfucking fact of life but it's a fact you are going to have to deal with That being said, i'd like to make sure you understand that I totally do not give a shit about what you think. And this applies also to all futures morons that will insult me on this thread because I said something true they are not ready to hear. I do not care what you think, I genuinely do not give a fuck, you should know that before posting :thumbsup And peace to the people who can debate a subject without insulting. If you don't insult me, I will always treat you with respect. But if you insult me, I'm not Chris Rock, you will hear back from me :winkwink: So I stand fucking firm on what I said earlier, head high and middle finger well elevated : - You can see the blue of the sky through the moon. This is impossible if the moon is a solid object - You can see stars through the moon, it's been proven by astronomers for centuries. This is impossible if the moon is a solid object. and there is not much you can do about it anyway :) |

this is cuz it takes time for light from the stars to reach the earth. the earth rotates so by the time starlight reaches earth it can give the appearance of stars behind the moon. but they're really not behind the moon, it's just the curvature of light combined with a rotating planet. the moon is a solid object the universe is a fascinating thing. I don't pretend to be an expert but on these two points I'm pretty sure |

Fair enough, what you describe is the official theory, extremely complicated, but it's the official stuff. ok. But then how do you explain the blue of the sky through the moon ? Because if stars are light years away, the blue of the sky itself is maximum 6000 miles in altitude (the limit of the exosphere) and most probably 400 miles (thermosphere). So that blue light is instant to us, it's not taking as much time as the stars light.. |

This is TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE if the moon is a solid object. THE MOON IS JUST A LIGHT |
Please don't breed.

A spherical solid object can not reflect light on 100% of its surface like the moon does during full moons
For a solid object to reflect light on its entirety, it has to be flat or concave. If the reflector is convexe (like a sphere), every ray of light points in a direct line with the radius, perpendicular to the surface resulting in no reflection. https://funvizeo.com/media/memes/592...08639b4967.jpg |

Apparently it can. End of. |

it reflects on its entire visible surface during the full moon which is impossible on a convex object Quote:
So yeah, i *heard* of the dark side of the moon It took me several weeks to accept the fact that it was all a big fat lie, so I get it one can't understand it immediately |
