I just went back and looked at my first site in the Wayback Machine. It went up in late 2001, I think, using a free host called XFREEHOST. I signed up here in '02. By then I was making galleries, submitting them, and then building small sites with them that used gallery traffic to trade with toplists and anybody who had a tradescript. My first check was from an outfit called Free Ezine Bucks that paid a buck for every "free signup" email they collected from my traffic.

oh yeah! they had a niche like vidz.com xfree i think was a baby from kinghost. remember they had to get more servers because the traffic was so high? :1orglaugh:1orglaugh
