I've been waiting patiently for Paxum's final reply, unfortunately they couldn't do anything to help me get my money back.
They also didn't say if they're doing anything to prevent future victims from transferring money to the scammer's Paxum account, which is quite alarming.

guys be careful company mentoring ( marco falco, lester faraday), i sold a tablink and after 1 year half they tried to do a chargeback on paypal( too bad after 180 days there is no more protection is they instantly lost) stay away!!!

Paypal works much better when it comes to the scamming, so maybe he got the money but sure they can add restrictions but probably that not their business...so it's better to use PayPal

I recognize the name and to be honest, I wasn't expecting such thing from them actually. Been doing similar deals for years now and everything always went fast and easy, without any issues or anything.

Must say, I never accepted invoices to be paid through PP.

Minimal content, they are just made up of affiliate links.

Not to mention the network of identical spammy sites.

Also, buying and selling links is supposed to be penalized by Google.

It is interesting. These toppornsites.com clones, the only content they seem to have is all on the home page itself, there are no other content pages. Now maybe with enough backlinks you can rank anything but they don't seem to have particularly strong backlink profiles either, so I guess what must be going on here is the owner is doing a lot of blackhat shit to get them to rank.

That is normal for adult , it's all about backlinks. For example, pornhub which is currently top se site, seowise is very badly optimized , but it dominate rankings anyway thanks to humongous amount of backlinks .

Yes this seems to be the case for adult. It doesn't seem to matter so much about the quality, it looks like as far as Google's algorithm is concerned quantity takes on a quality all of its own. Same goes for content.

I didn't check their backlink profile but I see a link to Theporndude on almost every decent adult site but I rarely see a link to big tubes like xvideos, xhamster, pornhub on regular adult sites... I see their video embeds on many porn sites but not regular hardlink.

If you want to compete with tubes but cant spend tons of money on backlinks, best way to do it would be to run sites on other languages . And another thing what helps a bit, is to add 500 word description for each video, not just few words as most of tubes have it.

For anything more than a few hundred dollars, why not use something like Escrow.com for peace of mind? Escrow ensures both parties perform in a timely manner. While escrow wouldn't prevent a site from prematurely dropping links, the buyer would know they are dealing with the actual site owner and not a scammer.

Our industry isn't that big, I really didn't expect someone who owns high-traffic websites to risk his reputation for a few hundreds of dollars...

Thanks for making us all aware of this scammer. Are you sure he owns these sites?

Of course I can't be 100% sure, but all of these sites are using the same template and they're all linking to each other, so I believe they're all belong to the scammer.

Also, this thread is live for a long time now, so if I wrongly accused someone of being a scammer, it's likely they would have come forward by now.
