While departments within the same company Traffic Junky =/= AdultForce. Anyone who has been in this business for a long period of time on the affiliate side and not the traffic driving side knows that AdultForce just got a significant amount of investment. The interface has changed substantially as well as the platfrom's payment capabilities. The changes actually coincide with the C level changes. I think this suggest a company shift in direction. Perhaps the traffic driving model isn't working anymore. Perhaps conversions and incentivizing real value are becoming more important to the company. When it comes to tracking, real-time analytics, and data crunching, there's no better platform in the Adult space. AdultForce is hands down number one in this category.

You may be struggling to work for Traffic Junky. I'd bet my life that's where most of the layoffs (if they do exist) are. AdultForce and the conversion driving arm of MG is alive and well. I suggest driving conversions and not traffic if you're going to stay in this space. Paying for clicks is archaic and that model isn't just dying here in adult, but affiliate marketing as a whole.

Your comparison really doesn't make much sesne. This is a borderless, regulationless internet and these guys created NATS and essentially affiliate marketing. This isn't an empire from 476 AD.

Ding Dong. They are not the biggest player in porn. Far from it. Not even close. And losing their billing will sink them when their competition didn't. Think Legal Porno.

Such a shame indeed, since pornhub is the easiest one to get started in this business with.

I literally find people to create an account, then pay them $20 to do so. Pornhub pays me $50. Then I upload all the IDs and spam the account with short videos with my url. Two months later, I get traffic and at least a $100 check comes every month for life. 5 accounts so far $600 per month, easy money. Not much, but an easy way to get started.

I've been doing this for 20+ years. Everything goes through cycles and nothing lasts forever.
We've had major billers going under almost overnight, the rise of MGPs and the sudden death of them, .xxx drama thinking our .com's we're doomed, the whole Acacia thing (I think thats what they were called) where they claimed to have the rights on video streaming and we would need to pay big amounts of $$$, AVS sites being huge then disappearing, 2257 regs and the new Mastercard regs, the tube sites decimating the traditional affiliate market etc etc.

Pornhub maybe will one day will go completely - or they'll just slowly slide into oblivion.
