Yeah, that's not what happened either. Not even close.

I don't read the majority of the posts there as all that Trump vs Biden and right vs left doesn't apply to me much, so maybe I've missed something. But what I stated is based on what I've seen.

almost didn't touch the long prose until i saw the author lol. i'll only read more than a para from a few people here.

economics based on race is obvious in developing countries. not so much in the US tho. the poorest in the US are rich compared to the poor in most other countries. for now.

the weird thing about fighting over skin color is you have continents like Asia, where everybody has the same skin color, but there's racism in every household. Africa is the same way. villages hate the fuck out of each other.

so it aint the skin. its the people.

Dumbdog took a break from his racist name-calling and went after Klen with posts that would at best made Klen's job harder, and at worst disrupt GFY's cashflow.

Let's face it - Klen puts up with alot of shit by alot of people who constantly get too close to crossing the line (not me tho... ;), so I don't blame him one bit for deciding that enough was enough and finally banning the guy.

Yeah not you. I did a quick search and this was the first result.

So your history goes back at least 8 years of doing this. But not you though, you wouldn't do that...

As long as Baddog been harassing Rochard, if anybody returned the favor back to him he should have had thicker skin about it.

If you can't handle it back, just be a peaceful old man. People will hold the door open for you, help you with your groceries, help you change your diaper and shit like that... instead of return-roasting you into a self destructive meltdown.

Baddog is an asshole. He's an asshole to people who make fun of him for his age, and he's an asshole to people he simply disagrees with, too. He constantly uses racist, bigoted and xenophobic remarks because (1) he's a bigot and (2) it's easy.

So, as you know, one day he went too far and used the term "Spic" and got rightfully banned. That's not Baddog getting banned for expressing his "opinion." He broke the rules and got banned. End of story.

When he came back, he started using sp*c or splc or something else really stupid, thinking he was being funny. In fact, he was just copying the other right-wing morons who are just as racist and bigoted. He continued being an asshole, attacking people at random, and just being himself, except worse.

Anyway, I'm not sure exactly what happened, but Klen decided to lock him out of the Politics section. This made Baddog unhinged and he lost it. First, he started a thread complaining about discrimination (mind you, Baddog had been complaining about discrimination on GFY and XBIZ for a while now, but this drove him over the edge) and this got a lot of attention. Klen said he had locked Baddog out of Politics because it was bad for his stress. Not sure what that was about, but we all got a good laugh.

This probably made Baddog angrier and more unhinged. He then started a thread "warning" advertisers about doing business with Klen and GFY, due to said discrimination. Basically painting himself as a victim and taking zero blame for anything. That earned Baddog his second rightful ban.

The intersectional stack has that particular slur ranking pretty low—slightly above white trash and honkey. The diaspora of hispanics includes caucasians. It’s not a slur like the N word. If he banned baddog for that, hopefully klen in enforcing slurs against caucasians, too. Kang was given a seat for that.

Victim – “Poor me.”
Victims often feel victimised, trapped, helpless and hopeless. They think they are at the mercy of life. They are unwilling to take responsibility for their undesirable circumstances and don’t think they have the power to change their lives.
Victims assume themselves as powerless or incompetent and blame on Persecutors (can be other people or a particular situation). They always seek for Rescuers to solve the problem for them. If the Victims continue to stay in the ‘dejected’ stance, it will prevent them from making decisions, solving problems, changing the current state, or sensing any satisfaction or achievement.
Rescuer – “Let me help you.”
Rescuers constantly intervene on behalf of the Victims and try to save Victims from perceived harm. They feel guilty of standing by and ‘watching people drown’.
Rescuers may have all the good intention and strive to ‘help’ other people as they see necessary. They fail to realise that by offering short-term fixes to Victims, they keep Victims dependent and neglect their own needs. This is why Rescuers often find themselves pressured, tired, and may not have time to finish their own tasks, as they are busy fire-fighting for the Victims as they arise!
Persecutor – “It’s all your fault.”
Persecutors are like ‘Critical Parents’ who are strict and firm and set boundaries. They tend to think that they must win at any cost.
Persecutors blame the Victims and criticize the behaviour of Rescuers, without providing appropriate guidance, assistance or a solution to the problem. They are critical and good at finding fault, and control with order and rigidity. They keep the Victims oppressed and sometimes can be a bully.

Are you a Victim, Rescuer, or Persecutor?
Now you are aware of the Drama Triangle and the roles in the triangular setting. So are you a victim, a rescuer, or a persecutor?
If you’re human, chances are you may see yourself or be seen by others, as all three in different scenarios.
It is important to point out that the players in the Drama Triangle may switch roles during a mind game, and if anyone in this triangle changes roles, the other two roles change as well.

When I was in undergrad, one of my two thesis advisors had to step down as Dean of Social Sciences because he used the word honky in conversation with another professor. He had tenure and remained a professor, but lost his deanship.

Also, the movie PCU is literally based on where I got my undergraduate education.

I personally believe nobody should use any of those terms, and have always believed nobody should use any of those terms, but the uneven enforcement of everything relating to political stance, pretty much across the internet, is ... let's call it disappointing. I am disappointed in humanity.

Than again, I looooooooooove that there is a Politics section here and I can just choose not to visit it. If I were locked out, I'd never know.

Differential enforcement is the new norm as you pointed out. It is, however, a self correcting problem. I’m shaking my fist at the internet in 1940’s voice and saying, “when I become a minority why I oughta…”
