Last time i went to Internext Vegas, a decade ago, i also stayed a few nights in Fremont Street after the show cause of your tips :)
Was great to take a look there also and will take a look there again!
Would be good for B2B show i think, but consumers maybe want the Strip.
Would be great for a party in a bar / pubcrawl also.
Maybe people want to join January 23 on a Bar Crawl in Downtown Las Vegas!

First days i stay in an appartment in Grand Wyndham and than Circus Circus.
Now hoping Circus Circus will be okay. At least it is only 10 minute walk to Resorts World.

What is the new GFY meeting point / Circle Bar at Internext 2024?

I live on Fremont these days, so yeah move the show to Circa lol, the new Carousel Bar at Plaza would make for a good circle bar meet up... mostly tryna get the show within walking distance from me :1orglaugh

I don't know...Fremont Street is a huge tourist destination these days. People staying on the strip end up taking ubers to Fremont because there literally is nothing to do on the Strip unless you are attending a Cirque du Soleil show. lol

I have always felt that the "true" Vegas vibe of Fremont would be awesome for the show.
And now that the Circa on Fremont is one of the newest and nicest hotel/casino resorts in Vegas, it should be a no-brainer.

Instead, we'll get to hang out at Resorts World.

Yes, i forgot about the circus do soleil crowd.
Stayed once in Golden Nugget for the Old-Vegas feeling.
Maybe we can convince AVN.
Too bad the monorail doesn't go all the way downtown.

Yeah, the monorail is horrible here in Vegas.
Apparently when they built it, the cab lobbyists made sure it did NOT run from the airport and didn't run downtown either (pre-Uber days).
So, as you know...it just runs up and down the strip.

But I doubt the AVN owners can be convinced to move the show to downtown. I've been preaching it to the different owners over the past 15 years, and they never listened.

Gotta say, before I moved here in 2008...I had no idea about Fremont Street. I thought the modern strip was the only thing. Didn't realize that Fremont Street is the ORIGINAL Neon strip.

I've attended this show and there were over 3,000 performers! BC they all mostly live over there..

I'm currently on the run from the feds, usually I go on bail or probation but this time different.

Update for the hotels, many hotels got sold out. Circus Circus and Fontainebleau looks like the best options.

But there are some rooms in Resorts World for now!

Absolutely - downtown would be excellent.

I trust that the Resorts world back in 2022 was a choice, since it was newly opened, some parts were not even finished yet, and the hotel rates were about a third or fourth of what they are now.

Btw. over the years, and also based on your recommendation, I've stayed in the following hotels downtown:

Golden Gate
The D
Golden Nugget

Where I really do like the Golden Nugget - probably my favorite place to stay in Vegas.

The vibe is great, less crazy, less loud, less over motivated than what you'd get on the strip.

Lots of regulars coming over for the weekend, great live music, authentic Vegas.

I've also managed to see Lita Ford live in the Golden Nugget showroom back in 2020 and have her signed biography.

Will eventually arrive Jan 23rd and flying back on 28th

How is Circus Circus?

The room Circus Circus is good. Everything clean and quiet. I expected worse, but it is okay.
And only 5 minute walk to the show hotel.

I brought my own kettle so i have cappuccino in the morning to wake up :)
