according to the US my country is level 3 and my parish is level 4. US gov officials under Chief of Mission are actually forbidden to enter my town

for real though, Retiree is spot on. those 'advisories' are usually pretty useless

my mom spent a couple months in Laos and Vietnam a few years back for a work thing, she had a an absolute blast. as an aside, Vientiane is the prettiest name for a city ever

Saudi Arabia - Level 3: Reconsider Travel

SA is safer than any western country and not by a bit...but by a MILE. People in the West can't even comprehend the level of safety, because its something they never experienced.

Well, I've certainly experienced Saudi Arabia and I know my wife will never go back because of.... the level of safety. Might be ok in mining villages, hotels or military bases but out of them and its heads up stay alert and reserved, you're in Muslim town.

Anyways ignore the warnings and report back on how Myanmar is for vacation. I'm in Thailand 1-3 times a year for the past 25 was there all Dec/January and back again in Nov, wify loves the place and the plan is to eventually retire there.

I spent some time in Riyadh felt 100% safe, so did my GF. Planning to come back to check out Jeddah. And we weren't in a hotel...I was looking for the real experience, so we rented from a local and stayed in a residential area, I didn't see another tourist in our neighborhood. We were walking all over the city freely until 5AM, only met helpful locals.

If I compare that with London, Paris or basically any US city, there I felt danger all the time, but extremely at night.

Yeah, its a joke...most of the world is a very safe place, people are being scared into staying in their own little town their whole lives. What a waste of life that is.

When I lived in Costa Rica there was a specific US state department advisory recommending that tourists stay away from the nightlife clubbing district we hung out at 2-3 nights a week. That was always good for a laugh.

The lifestyle I like is to fuck one to three different girls aged between 18 to 28 every day at an affordable price which, in my country, would cost a fortune. That's why I moved to SE Asia.

I am thinking either Bangkok or Pattaya, since they are close to each other. I love the sea and the beach, I would love to have the option to swimm there every day. On the other day, I love big cities and the options they are offering...and I would choose a nice place in Bangkok close to city center, with a roof pool, gym, etc. Bus or train between both cities is 2 hours...so no biggie, I can visit both easily, even if choosing one to stay. I don't know which to choose, though.

I'd go on YouTube and research Da Nang, Vietnam

Medium sized city beside a beautiful beach, people have described it as similar to Miami

It's beach was voted one of the best in the world recently

5am the beach is backed with people exercising, working out and playing sport

It's one of the cheapest medium size cities in Vietnam (1.2m people roughly)

Pros Vs Thailand

Foods cheaper
Alcohol is cheaper
Rent will be cheaper (than Bangkok or Pattaya)

Obviously depends what lifestyle you're interested in, if you're not interested in sex tourism I think De Nang would suit you very well indeed. Then you could get the train or a flight to Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City or where ever when you fancy going to a big city

Cheaper than Thailand

Also next month they are changing the visa rules, used to be only 30 days entry and that's being changed to 90 days

Yeah, I will definitely spend some time in Vietnam, but picked Nha Trang as my main base there. I was looking for something smaller on the beach, with less traffic and noise.

What's your plan for remaining in ketosis in asia where the majority of meals have rice, noddles or bread included?

natkejs 07-05-2024 07:13 PM

Cambodia has very easy to access 1 year visas available.

I've stayed for some years in Thailand but the visa runs got old. That is about to change though I hear, some new visa type where you can stay for multiple years as I understand.

Also Thailand is probably better suited for people working in the adult industry due to local laws being less strict. Couldn't produce content in Cambodia for instance, here you'll go to jail if you show too much cleavage on facebook lol

May i ask why you set a base? I just travel to a place and stay mostly minimal a month in a place. But i only have 1 suitcase and small backpack (with 2 laptops). I used to have a big backpack. But changed that to a suitcase. Cause you can lock it and in the end you only carry it from your hotel room to a taxi.

Now in Greece, and at the end of the month i go to Thailand/Asia for some months. Will be in Thailand December and January for sure. Affiliate World Bangkok is always an interesting and fun event with lots of people working in adult industry. And in January many travelling friends are heading to Thailand.

Travelling around now for 14 years!

I am only staying in ketosis few weeks every year, not doing it long term.

But I wouldn't have an issue doing it anywhere...I mostly eat what I cook and if I ate at a restaurant, I would just eat meat without the side dish. My keto is really simple...eggs, meat, cheese, protein drinks, nuts and some vegetables.

I travel light, too. I prefer to have a fixed base, from where I can explore nearby destinations, as I will be working normally, too. So I will do most exploring in the evenings and during the weekends...already planned trips to Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam. 2 weekends I will spend in Bangkok, to explore the city, too. Other than that I just want to work close to the beach, with a gym nearby and just enjoy the warm weather.

If I like it there, I will come back next year, for 2 months again and explore Bali, Taiwan, Japan and maybe China.

My GF still has a regular job and unfortunately she loves it, so need to adjust to how much vacation she can get every year. If she was working online or took a break for a while, we would definitely spend all year travelling from one place to another, staying everywhere for a month or two.

I also work mostly every day. In Thailand i stayed months on an island at the beach with a gym in front of the apartment. I am not that sportive, but when it is in front, i go. Sadly the Gym moved to the next village last year.

My GF quit her job to travel with me and now working online also on own projects. She knew i would never going to live in Mexico City. I want beach, nature, good food and relax. I once made a mistake to not travel cause had a GF that wouldn't quit her job to travel. Wasted a few years on that.

Mexico City is great for a month. I stayed some months near Zona Rosa, Coyoacan and La Condesa and a local neighbourhood and took private Spanish lessons. Also the pyramids near Mexico DF are worth a visit (just take the bus). Puebla is a town near Mexico DF, also nice to visit a few days.

Great bucket list!

What would be the best month to go there? Not too hot, but not cold either.

May/June says my GF expert, or October.
Also not much rain than.

Is a micro climate in Mexico DF. I took once the Metro in the sun.
Got out 15 minutes later in another part of the city and there it was raining.
Very strange for me.

Obviously Thai as a lot have said since it is the most degen state in SEA.
Singapore is not bad if you are rich.
Malaysia is like a chill version of Thai with similar costs.
Myanmar is a hidden gem if you don't mind the occasional artillery shell.

Wtf are you talking about? I don't need to talk behind anyone's back. I've said it multiple times in public that I think you're an idiot and a liar. My opinion of you is no secret.

As for the rest of your post, you made that up in your head.

If you hate someone and seek their physical (EXACT) location, I think that is creepy and sort of stalkish. Do you disagree?
