Seems to me there's been a pretty big misunderstanding. Nysus doesn't always present his statements in a way everyone can understand what he's thinking, but he has the best intentions and I'm sure he'd never try to rip anyone off. HOpe you guys get things resolved, DH, you're a cool dude and I'm sure it'll work out.

I don't think I've seen serious negative posts/claims here about nysus besides DH's post and even that I predict (As Nysus said) is a byproduct of misunderstanding, minor behavior flop or some alcohol related fuckup ;)

I am waiting for DH's version but only to see how two people can see the same story totally different :D It's like a movie with two different camera angles :thumbsup

First of all if Nysus didn't reg the domain, how can anyone in their right mind think he intended to steal it?

Second of all - unless I'm missing something here - I'd be afraid to ever do biz with DH if the guy is going to try to crucify someone for simply asking permission on something. Who wants to cut deals with someone who might fly off the handle at the slightest misperception. Ya' give people the benefit of the doubt... especially people like Nysus who always go out of their way to treat people well.

Just about everyone else in this biz would have just regged the domain and said fuck it. Nysus calls the guy to ask because he's a good guy and he gets this shit? What a load of crap.

There are a few things people aren't realizing:

First,
It was on the car ride home that the ideas and gossip were flowing, no alcohol was involved, though I still likely had a bit of blood in my alcohol stream from the 12 or so hours of drinking.

Second,
That thread on hahahahahahaha was started on 04-14-2002 08:34 PM which is well over a year ago. I have realized after that that I do not have the portfolio or background for someone to drop that kind of money on a 20 year old, and am building myself up for this project myself.

Socks - I agree with you, you are right. I must add now though that I wasn't in as good of a state of mind as the time went on and my emotions took over. DrinkingHard truly did say some hurtful and nasty things.

I am tempted to post the logs, though the only reason I am not is because it won't make DrinkingHard look too great, and I know that if the situation was how he thought it was then I would have reacted the same way - minus the hurtful comments.

DrinkingHard - I'm afraid I'm likely taking away your glory, I know Jason talked to Cameron and he likely talked to you. I have no clue what else you might have 'up your sleeve' so I am likely going to post the logs because that is all there is unless you somehow found some dirt on me I don't remember about, or that I started lurking in this industry 5 years ago when I was only 15, I'm not worried about that - I know many people who have started post 18 years of age.

I should have thought my initial question message through more thoroughly, as I stated above, it was more of a "Can I register the domain?" as opposed to "Are you using the domain?" I did not expect DrinkingHard to react the way he did.

His reaction was part my fault but the purposely hurtful things he said weren't cool.

Also, Ron, my response for Socks can also be part of my reply for you. If I hadn't felt so horrible of things DrinkingHard said I perhaps would have not told Jason what went on and let things fly.

I am going to hold off from posting the ICQ logs, however it would prove my point (for anyone that knows how sensitive I am) that it would have fucked up my emotions and made me feel hurt.

a) work it out with them first and,
b) starts all this shit without actually saying anything? It's the worst of the worst of GFY's bad Jerry Springer shit from what I could see.

Perhaps he is a cool guy and he was totally misreading or there is more to it as you say. So I will follow my own advice and give the benefit of the doubt. I'm just reacting to the facts that I see.

XXXManager - I really don't know what else DrinkingHard could post other than the log history, which would only make him look bad in my opinion. It is bothering me and making me really anxious too waiting for him to post what he wants to say, and that is only because I want for him to understand and for things to be right.

Mark Tiarra - Thanks for your reply. I think a few people were also thinking that I registered the domain. I didn't. I didn't call him however, just to point that out, though I initially wanted to. I guess I am glad so I can have the ICQ logs to refer back to.

spunky1 - I do agree with giving him a chance, though people can be a good person to a certain level. I truly was and still am hurt about what DrinkingHard said. And I can only hope in defense if he does post the logs that he doesn't continue the same level of immaturity that he did initially. It could have, and probably was all first reaction rage, though I personally think things through before I react - I try my hardest anyways.

Yes, I agree, that is why I have not. I would only if it would come to that after much more discussion. I still would have preferred this be worked out privately, though DrinkingHard wouldn't listen to me so I guess it is for the best.

If he posts private chat logs with you he will prove himself to be an idiot - no matter how tired he may be. I want to believe like people say here that he is a good guy and its all just a misunderstanding.

Private chat logs are just that - private. Only in a case where you quote some chat where noone knows who you quoted OR its a chat with a company's rep and the ones you show the chat are his/her managers - I would say its OK.

He can say what he want. You don't need to worry too much.
Worst case - he says something valid that you did wrong - you apologize and shake hands. Unless I am missing something crucial - it will all pass without a trace.

Who else here besides me doesn't bother to keep logs? I had the jack booted federal thugs in my office one too many times to keep logs that might get one of my clients hurt. It wasn't directly said to me if that is what your impression was. There were a total of five people in the car.

He also mentioned that he could care less if he lost traffic from Jason for being an asshole to him, so in essence Jason already knew DrinkingHard's opinion of him. Maybe he was bullshitting to us all in the car and didn't really act the way he said he did. It was a bad decision on my part to expand my conversation with Jason to include what DrinkingHard had said.

JayJay, the domain name thing is a misunderstanding. I didn't tell anyone the domain, nor the idea, nor did I register it. I asked him if I could register the domain because I had checked to see if it was registered by him, and it was not. That is all.

I apologize wholeheartedly to DrinkingHard for emotionally letting out what his thoughts on Jason were.

I hope over time people can forgive me and understand that I am still young and learning about trust as well as discression. I didn't foresee any of this happening, I am very sorry, I try to be as responsible as I can.

I am only going to reply once DrinkingHard says what he is planning to say. I am going to get on with my day.

Matt, I've been dealing with you on and off for quite some time now and you've always come across to me as a good kid who's trying hard to do what he can to make it in thi biz.

The only thing I can suggest is don't sweat it. Try to work it out with DH in private because no matter what in the end you're not going to change anyone's mind.

The sides are already pretty clear here, and those lines are drawn by friendship.

Those that are friends with DH will take his side, your friends will take yours, and those in between well they'll just probably say what they've all been saying. You're both good guys and this is just probably a big misunderstanding that should be handled privately.

So, drop it on the boards, go private and see if you can work it out.

Because this whole boards war shit will only make you both look bad in the end.

I tend to remember people by their face not name and so when it was pointed out via a pic from the show who DH was I was extra surprised to hear there was a mad tone like that taken. He seemed like a real level headed cool guy.

Anyway, I agree with the above that working things out in private is best but you have to at least allow that Nysus did not start any type of post and just came here to defend himself.

First of all lets deal with the Jason Vidsvidsvids issue and then I will deal with you later.

I introduced myself to Jason at the Platinum Bucks party and thanked him for listing my movie galleries and continuing our trade on Throatpokers.com. But right from the get go he acted like he was king shit. Well that is fine with me, I deal with alot of egos in this business and I don't mind it at all. Hell if my sites were as big as Jason's I would probably have an ego too.

But the reason I thought Jason was arrogant was because he bad mouthed a GOOD friend of mine. I told him that I was from Vancouver and that I hung out with certain people that he knows. He went on a tirade of how much of an ass this friend of mine was and that he was a cheat. I am not going to mention who this friend of mine is but Jason knows full well who it is.

And for the official record I did not say I wished Jason's sites to fail, that is an ABSOLUTE FABRICATION of the truth.

When we were in the SUV on the way home I mentioned this information in CONFIDENCE to the people in the car. I am very dissapointed in Nysus, as this information was not to be repeated as it would obviously strain the limited business relationship Jason and I have.

Regardless business is business, if Jason wants to cancel our trade and stop listing my galleries so be it.

Let's see some prove. Igor is a good guy in my books. I once said something to Daymon joking around about how Igor was russian and he got pissed at me and thought he was going to rip my head off.

Now here is my take on Nysus.

Daymare and I shared a room in Toronto and we agreed to share one in Montreal. Daymare asked me if it would be ok with me if Nysus crashed in our room (since he was broke and could'nt afford his own room). I had no problem with it at all and told him to go ahead and invite him.

I was in Toronto doing some biz for the last couple of weeks and was planning to drive a rental car from Toronto to Montreal for the conference. Daymare asked me, since I was driving to Montreal if I could possibly give him and Nysus a ride. I had no problem with this at all because it was on the way for me and would enjoy the company on the long drive.

Nysus was given a room key and freely helped himself to our room and hotel bar. Nysus had next to no spending money, so Daymare and myself picked up most of the tabs for him. Such as dinner at Dundee's, limo to the Grand Prix, numerous rounds of drinks at the Grand Prix and several other minor purchases.

None of this I complained about.

I didn't really know much about Nysus other than he had won the 1 million post at GFY. So I inquired about what he did in the adult world and he basically told me he was working on several big "ideas". Some people don't like discussing ideas so I left it as that but was still curious. I TOTALLY don't mind helping out guys that are WORKING HARD to make it in adult but haven't had the best of luck.

Nysus talked all weekend about how is friend Mark Tiarra was going to front him $200,000 for venture capital so he could get some of his IDEAS going. I met Mark and went out to dinner with him and thought he was a very cool and down to earth guy. (BTW thanks again for the limo ride Mark). I have absolutely no problem with Mark and thought his seminar was very informative.

Through further conversations with Daymare and Nysus, I found out basically that Nysus does NOTHING. He does not submit galleries, he does not make AVS sites, he does not own paysites. HE DOES SIMPLY NOTHING... This simply pissed me off!!!

Anyways on the home from Montreal I disclosed an idea to the guys that I WAS planning on using. This idea was something I had been thinking of doing for some time now. Nysus heard the whole idea and then as soon as I got home I got a message from Nysus basically saying that he wanted to start the project and I would get 5-10% of the project if I let him have it.

I told him to GO FUCK HIMSELF! I told him that this was my idea and I planned to use it in the future. He back tracked and said he was not going to steal it or abuse my trust. BULLSHIT! He told a bunch of his buddies about my idea.

Once again I told Nysus something in CONFIDENCE and he betrayed my trust my going out and telling some other people about my idea.

The truth about Nysus is that he is a lying sack of shit, that used me for my money and my ideas. He is a manic depressive child who's hooked on paxil and that has no better time than to go behind my back talk to Jason and also steal MY ideas. Oh what Nysus do you think things would have improved by you telling Jason what I had said about him??? What about your big ideas Nysus why do you feel the need to steal mine?

I felt totally taken advantage of. This guy came to Cybernetexpo on mine and Daymare's dime and feels no regrets about spending our money. He lives with his mom and dad in Kingston who support him financially and tell him to do whatever he wants to do. Basically Nysus is a trust fund baby who is dabbling in porn because he can't find out what he wants to do in life. He even complained because his Dad didn't leave enough money in his account so he could have some spending money in Montreal.
