Listen up people - want to know which companies are WORTH promoting as hosted galleries. It's the same ones you see day in and day out in the pre-paid gallery spots on sites like the hun, worldsex, JJJ, sublime, sleazydream, al4a, etc....
if a hosted gallery sponser is willing to PRE-PAY for an advertising spot, and you see them as REPEAT buyers - OBVOUSLY they make money.

I just ran into a tsunami of some of the sites you've listed and just notified everyone with software to get the spyware and dialers and shit that those sites kick out.

I was stunned to see such blatant cheating and scamming and no one had done anything. Til I got here and read your post.

Are a few free programs (some pay programs but the free versions work fine) that I would recommend.

The craftiness of these cheaters is amazing. I ran into a mouseover multiple redirect/dialer download/director changer all in one. It only works on broadband as 56k or slower would catch them too quickly.

Webmasters and surfers should use anti-spyware but there's a caveat to that. Some of these cheaters use 'referral code jackers' which change your referral code to theirs so they get the sale. The anti-spyware or 'evidence' washers most surfers are using do additional damage because if the surfer doesn't buy on the spot after visiting your site, they reboot later or come back later and their directories are cleaned including your cookie referral code. Sucks don't it?

I dunno, maybe one day I'll get listed on the Hun's site and make enough loot to thwart evil.

i could make a program that.. you could load a list of domains.. would check those domains every hour and make sure no html has changed on them.. if html changed it would fire off some kind of alert.. like email or icq.. and you could check it out to find out who is trying to cheat.. if enough people want something like that i could make it in a few hours..

Just make sure they manually check the gallery, and don't just get thrown on a huge blacklist and banned.

I've done some dumb shit. Forgot to add my ref code on a gallery before, had to go back and change them so I got credit for sales.

make sure you program doesn't count this as cheating.

I know that feeling, I've never cheated of done anything wrong and you listed me for years..Suddenly last Dec or so you quit running my gallerys and won't even answer an email when I ask what's wrong..

Will not work... things are a tick more complicated than that... First of all not everybody is redirected. Secondly, if a free host would update, or someone would fix an error on his gallery, the listing would get whiped by this program...

Sorry, but I can say this isn't true 'cause I ALWAYS reply when people ask me what's wrong... might not always be the reply you're looking for, but I always reply... Maybe your message never got to me, that's the first thing that springs to mind.

I respect the people who send me good galleries, and I would be the first to admit my site is there 'cause of the people that mail me galleries... in fact, it's on my webmaster and/or submit page somewhere I'm sure...

Well if it WAS listed you'd get an email! So if you don't get an email it's NOT LISTED. Fairly simple to figure out I think. Also this way hun saves paper by not sending out millions of rejection letters.
