The funny part about this is Acacia scours these boards and you, by yourself are identifying yourself for Acacia, not me. They have done their homework and picked out CE to exploit, I can't do anything about that.

I personally have not signed any license because I no longer own CECash or CE. In fact, my consulting agreement is coming to a close with CE and very soon have nothing left to do with same.

I will say CE stands in a better position regarding its future than anyone else who has not licensed. You figure it out.

CECash signing a license will have no affect on invalidating their patent, if the patent is ruled invalid, CECash will have paid money for nothing, this is like an insurance policy. THe only litigation going on is to 'invalidate the patent', nothing else, so CECash signing a license it in no way affects our industry adversely.

We don't like Acacia, they're bottom feeders, just needed a hedge to protect future business and eradicate backwards liabilty, it was a prudent business decision.

It's comical how naysayers in this thread and the O p r a n o thread have spun this action so negatively. It seems like they're trying to promote themselves by making folks dislike CECash. My Grandfather always told me, if they're not talking about you, you're not doing enough business. lol

The only deal I cut with Acacia was for Voice Media, Inc. - a release from backwards liability. I no longer own CE or CECash, it was sold to TradeNews Corp. TNC is the only company that has a license from Acacia. So, that speculation is wrong, just some of your vintage poison.

Voice Media has paid Webmasters 100's of millions of dollars. In fact, you made plenty money of of Fast Cash, enough to further yourself on the Net. I remember the only deal I ever did with you. The City Soap thing in New York. You brought the deal to me, you had a friend to run the apartment and girls on the cams, your part was to market it, we supplied all the hardware, streaming technology and affiliate program. After a month you called me up and said the deal is over. We ate all that expense for the servers, software, etc. That was real stand up thing to do, but I just let it be, I should have sued your ass over that, but I didn't, didn't even get mad, just said OK.

I seriously don't understand what some of the people in this thread are talking about. CECash signing the license with Acacia in no way effects the IMPA's attempt to invalidate the patent. Some of you are acting like this is going to have some sort of snowball effect, or is going to fuck over the rest of the industry. It doesn't set any sort of legal precedent, so what the fuck is the problem? It's not like Acacia can come out and say CECash signed it, so you have to as well!
