I haven't been that long in the bizz with this kind of situations, will these companies (globill, etc) pay you back? Any similar experience? :)

If what happened with Lancelot last September is any indication - We can kiss our hard earned money good-bye. They really did a fuck job on us.

I lost $100 plus my naivety.

True. While Terry & Elizabeth from Lancelot/Validate are now enjoying their brand new beach side home in Florida. And I'm not kidding about that!

I lost over $12,000 on that one. (Lancelot that is)

skitten 07-29-2003 01:23 PM

Oh, Terry and Elizabeth Neves are enjoying more than that. They own about five or six beach front condos in Jupiter, FL - each with an value of approximately $500,000-$600,000. I guess they are into real estate now. If there is a God, they will both be struck with cancer or some other fatal disease and die a slow painful death. (in their beach front home)

They owe me over $5000 - Not to mention re-bills.

About 400$ plus rebills.

People saying the "GloBill based systems can't pay their affiliates" because they don't know what the affiliates made shouldn't be in this biz in the first place. GloBill had an option to email EVERY signup with the site ID and the selling affiliate ID. If the owner of the program didn't keep these records than they aren't qualified to be running an affiliate program. Sure we can't track future rebills, but every penny owed can be accounted for.

AOF/DB has all these records and if if GloBill doesn't make good, as we stated on friday, we'll eat it so our affilites CAN EAT.

Keep you heads up for AOF's partnership coming back next week with a custom front end to multiple processors.

Cheers!

I am still crying over Lancelot, it was our first ever billing company a long long time ago.
I only had pushed a view sites with Globill, but let me tell you I know of a lot of sites who used Globill and they are hurting, even if they don't post it.

I rather not say what Lancelot owes me (urgh) but Globill owes me around 300

loverboy 07-31-2003 12:52 PM

I haven't seen any thread yet about GloBill going for a settlement, anyone?

Your nick fits you. Utter bullshit. Just because you get an email doesn't mean the card was ultimately accepted. Ever heard of grace period, genius? Not all cards make it thru that, especially as of late with globill. And yet those emails come in saying there was a "supposed" sale made. As globill has denied access to those records and deleted others it makes it hard to tell which ones actually made it thru the grace period, now don't it.

I also wonder now how many sales did go thru that weren't posted in the stats or emails sent. They took the money and ran like bitches at the end, who's to say they weren't handing you a high-five fucking all along?
