Meanwhile consumers chug coke and coffee like no tomorrow, which are really bad for you as well. Sugar and caffeine are bad. I smoke pot daily, but I eat healthier than most people I know. |

I think you need a better layout for your site :winkwink: |
yes, it's a waste of tax dollars
and since "WE" the people are 'supposedly' the government, if the majority of us feel it should be legalized then why the fuck is it not??? |
Uh dammm I forgot.. what was the question? :)

decriminalize? how about legalize it and allow stores to sell it , along with cigs and alcohol. put the dealers out of biz.
also give registered heroin addicts a free daily supply of clean, safe, heroin linked to a proper program decreasing usage over a number of weeks thus "weening" them off, administered by healthcare professionals. put the criminals out of business nothing wrong with clean heroin, it's just the dirty black market stuff that is harmful and the fact that it is totally unlabelled & unregulated therefore making it too easy for users to OD. did you know many vets are addicted to heroin and get a clean supply after it was administered on the battlefield? give addicts clean heroin which is NOT harmful and put the dealers selling crap out of biz. |
also if you give heroin addicts a clean daily supply every morning they dont have to spend all day stealing and shit to pay for black market heroin, they might then do something more productive
|
Welfare junkies, just what we need.

the alternative is what you have now
heroin addicts committ a high number of crime to pay for black market and dangerous heroin if you let them register and give them a clean daily supply linked to a program leading to them being weened off the drug a lot of city crime will dramatically fall if you continue to support prohibition the number of addicts will simply increase and so will the level of crime to fund and support a black market which also helps fund and support terrorists in columbia, north korea and elsewhere. also think of the budget for the DEA and all the money every local police force has to spend following up and processing crimes associated with heroin users funding their habit. then compare it to the likely costs associated with treating them and administering a clean supply. I bet you there will be a huge saving |
btw, I am by no means a liberal. I am a libertarian. please kindly wake up and see what a failure the "war on drugs" is.
It actually helps to fund terrorism and failed states like North Korea. they do a roaring trade exporting black market heroin that eventually ends up in the West. All of them can be wiped out over night if we treated addicts rather than leaving them at the mercy of the black market (who include such delightful ingredients such as rat poison in their heroin products). :2 cents: |
