If for any reason (and I am NOT doubting him) it turns out to be less than honest--it will come back around. I have a feeling he is an honest guy at the end of his rope. Even if I lived in a box and had no food I would not have the guts to ask for help on GFY so KUDOS and sorry to hear about your parents.

I found myself in a bad situation when I was 19 (so long ago) and if it weren't for the kindness of total strangers--I wouldn't have had food to eat, so I can understand the outreach to people he doesn't know. (As well as the kindness of strangers helping out). :2 cents:

Gexus you bring up a good point - I think it's both luck and hard work, but sometimes it's also something like this-
I've seen a lot of hard workers who were reliable be passed over for promotions *because* they were so good. They truly deserved to be promoted but they were purposefully being held back because they were doing *too* good of a job, no one else would be able to take their place and do it as well or efficiently.
